Help--Bad resolution in copperdesk2

For somer reason when I use Copper Desk II (winstyles) I get a very blurry task bar. I checked the sample screenshot of cd2 and my task bar seems to be taller than it shold be. why is that? It stretches all the icons in my taskbar and makes an otherwise nice skin look very ugly and blurred, how do I fix it

Everything stretches with age.

ok I switched styles and this problem seems to affect my task bar no matter what. it always stretches it to be taller than it should be and I dont know why

Check your User Overrides in WB Config and see if you have "Skin Decides Taskbar Size" selected. If you have "Large Taskbar Size" selected it will stretch the taskbar and blur the icons.

Hope that helps

where do I find the user overrides? I see a settings menu but there is no "skin decides taskbar size" checkbox to uncheck here?

Right click your desktop.
Choose Properties.
Click tab "Appearance"
Click "Windowblinds"
Click "User Overrides" (On the left)
The "Skins Decides Taskbar Size" is in the middle of the page.

ah ha, I discovered the problem while following your directions. I applied the style using the winstyles program. When I loaded the display settings windows reverted, so I loaded the style again using the display properties dialogue. When I used display properties to do it, the icons and task bar were fixed

by the way I followed your directions thru and thru and there is no "user overrides" button on the left side. only skins, smartbuttons, settings, per application, and system. Is my WB outdated?

I have no idea. You didn't say what version you had.
