I bought Gal Civ 3 on steam back when it very first came out and came with the Builders Kit DLC, Map Pack DLC, Ship Parts Launch Pack, and Ship Designer's Toolbox DLC. Recently I've wanted to get back to the game and do some multiplayer with friends, so they bought the Gal Civ 3 pack that is currently on sale. It comes with Crusade, Mega Events, and Retribution. I didn't have those DLC so I went ahead and got the pack as well since its cheap at the moment. However, now when I host a multiplayer game and they try to join, we get the mismatched DLC error. I've removed all the other DLC packs other than crusade and retribution and still getting the same error. I even uninstalled the game via steam, erased the gal civ folder from my steamapps, and them reinstalled just gal civ, mega events, crusade, and retribution (none of the older DLC packs). I also did a steam file validation after all that as well, and they still can't join my lobby. They are able to make a lobby and join each other, but I cannot join their lobby. If we all disable our crusade DLC (so that its the base game, mega events, and retribution), we can all get in the same lobby. I reckon since its only on my end, it might have something to do with my "old" gal civ copy/license in some way? Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
