Hi Everyone,
I purchased Galactic Civilization 1 Ultimate Edition off of Steam, and after having to cajole it for it to install successfully, it starts up and plays perfectly.
The problem I am having is when I quit out of the game. When I do so, I no longer can see my taskbar. If I move my mouse to the extreme bottom of the screen, even though I can see nothing of the taskbar or its icons, if I click where the start button is, the start menu appears. The same is true no matter where I click on the very bottom of the screen regarding a possible icon or the clock.
An example (just to be perfectly clear in case I'm not) would be if I touch the bottom of the screen where the clock resides, the clock/Calander will pop up on the screen and function as it should.
The clock of course is easy to find, it's just nice to know for sure my mouse is in the right spot on the taskbar to make sure I was clicking on whatever icon or program that is minimized to the taskbar.
Thus far, the only solution I've been able to use is to put the mouse on the bottom of the screen to launch the start menu, then reboot the system. Once my computer has rebooted, all is well again and I can see everything I'm supposed to see.
I have never had this issue with another program, so I'm a bit stumped.
In case you need to know my computer specs, they are as follows:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
32Gb of RAM
4K LG Monitor
Windows 10 Pro Build 19044.1526 (21H2)
It should also be known that I'm an Object Desktop subscriber and have WindowBlinds, Fences, and DeskScapes 11 running.
Any help at all in how I can fix my issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
