I noticed that a new test version was downloaded, so I tried to start a new game and the game completely crashed when I hit the
"Start Game" button after selecting all of the options for the game. The first screen snapshot below shows the version of the game as it appears in the Epic Game launcher and the second screen snapshot shows the properties of the executable.
