I have taken a look at this and am not seeing the problem here any different than without S11 though the link above does not work and no download happens so I manually did the ExtendedUIHoverTime tweak.
I was able to make it show previews and get stuck on screen without Start11 running.
This can be reproduced by doing the following.
1) Have multiple windows open for a given process (say explorer).
2) Click on the taskbar button for the app. The thumbnails will appear
3) Once open clicking on anything other than the thumbnail preview will not make it go away.
4) If you click on one of the windows and then move your mouse back over the taskbar button you will find it will popup the previews but only on that one taskbar button and only once until the next time you do step 2.
Is this perhaps what everyone has been seeing? If not what exactly is the behaviour, is it showing on all apps when it shows, or just the last app you switched to perhaps via the taskbar?
Are you using combine mode taskbar or uncombined and if combined does it continue if you enable uncombined and then disable showing the text.
Start11 does not implement this window or the mouseover behaviour, Neither can it control how it appears so it cannot alter if it shows as a line of thumbnails or a menu/list.
No the issue is that I don't want the taskbar thumbnail previews and even if I did, it is very buggy, look at the below video.
I have a tweak to disable taskbar thumbnail previews and when I hover over any open window like a file explorer window or a program, I don't see any thumbnail preview which is what I want but the moment Start11 is installed and I set the option to let it enhance the taskbar, this bug happens where now it shows the thumbnail preview.
I am surprised that even after months of reporting this bug it is still there even in the latest BETA 2.0.7.1
the issue is that I have disabled Taskbar Thumbnail previews using this reg edit:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"ExtendedUIHoverTime"=dword:0001d8a8
But if you enable the let Start11 enhance my taskbar feature, it still shows the taskbar thumbnails and not only that, it is so buggy that if you right-click on an open Window to close it, it keeps disappearing, look at this video:

I am using Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631. 3296
