LightStar, you have a lot of interesting paid and free themes for WindowBlinds! Thank you so much for your work! Unfortunately, they don't work on Windows 11 Pro 26H1. Too bad! I even created a thread about it. But as far as I understand, Stardock has no plans to update WindowBlinds to work on the latest versions of Windows 11.

I am on Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 still here, I guess 26H1 must be a special pre-release version, mine does not even show an update available for that version. Thanks for the comment though! :-)

Windows 11, version 26H1 is a targeted release that supports some of the new device innovations coming in 2026. That means that this release is not being made available through broad channels but is only intended for those who purchase these new devices. At this time, devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon® X2 Series processors will come with Windows 11, version 26H1.

Picco14, I'm afraid I'm ignorant about the significance of the rooster. No need to apologize for patriotic feelings.

Hello DrJBHL,

It was meant humorously, I’m certainly not going to sincerely apologize for being a patriot...

You surprise me:

In ancient times, the Romans referred to the Gauls using the Latin word "Gallus," which meant both "Gaul" and "rooster." This play on words led to the rooster being used as a symbolic representation of the Gaul. Initially a subject of mockery, the rooster gradually became a symbol of pride and courage.

The kings of France adopted the rooster for its courage and bravery. During the Revolution, it became a symbol of the people and the state, appearing on coinage.

It can also be found made of gilded copper a top the spire restored after the fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, as well as on most church steeples in France.

It appears on the left side of the jerseys over the heart for many French national teams (football, rugby, and others).

It is a symbol that represents France.
