Task switcher panel weird behavior with Microsoft Edge

I'm using the trial of TouchTasks to try to replicate the task switching experience from Windows 8 by setting it to the left side of the screen and disabling the gesture for Widgets and, while it does mostly work, it behaves very weird with Microsoft Edge.

The panel shows multiple Edge tabs as different tasks and clicking on any of these that are not the current active tab will not activate the Edge window.

Additionally, and I know this product hasn't been updated in forever, it would be nice if the task switch panel had a close button on each task to be able to close windows from it.

Disregard, going into windows 11 Settings App -> System -> Multitasking and setting the show tabs from apps when snapping to Don't show tabs makes it so only one Edge window shows up on TouchTaks, which is what i wanted.
