I also don't try to make my LINUX box look like another OS, what would the point of that be?

Asking questions like that are like asking people if they like broccolli. Some do, some don't.

I have found over the last couple of years, that when people ask questions like this, at a windows site, it's like drawing flies.
You will get more negative responses than positive.

I encourage anyone who has created a skin, if people like it or not, to submit and share with others.

(And shame on you for discouraging people to upload thier skins).

No need for that, there is a new app to run OSX on the pc, its new but slow, just wait and its going to be fast in the future, wont be any need to buy a mac. you can find the story on thescreensavers.com

Nah, IPlural, it's his member ID causing the problem, I believe. The multi-posting bug appears to be primarily affecting those with ID's over 1000000.

A good mac theme is still a good theme. I'd love to see a good minimal panther or OSX theme.

i still have one of my machines running the flat panther look because it's sleak and non-distracting. if you have minimalist stuff PLEASE GOD upload it, don't have to make it look mac. just keep it functional.

Yeah, to the orginal poster (if he's still around) I'd say make and upload what you like...if it's a good skin, it's a good skin. And no matter what you do some folks will like it and use it and others won't. So I wouldn't worry about popularity or trying to cater to others' tastes.

And minimal skins have their own appeal and following so don't feel you have to make it mac-like just to get people to look at it or use it. But if you do want to play with the mac look that's ok too. Up to you.
