1.)Download the Stardock Bootskin Software http://www.bootskin.com
2.)Download a bootskin you like. and save on your disk.
3.)Double-Click to install and use it.

okay i downloaded the program. and them skins.. i install it.. and then i reboot.. but then when i saw the skin and working well but when the skin finish it did not open windows and it did not open my computer... why?? i system restore to make my computer work again.. what mistake i make?

by the way i downloaded bootskin 1.02 ... im using win xp no service pack .. 128memory, pentium 2, 336 mhz... compaq armada... shall i used the bootskin 1.05 version?

it's probably just a compatibility issue with yout motherboard. Bootskin doesn't work for me either.

is that the reason for a boot skin not to work cuz my Toshiba-Satellite celron-2.80GHZ 256 MB it wont work whit any boot screeb

like I said try all 4 Versions. There is a 97% chance that one of them will work. and if not. You are one of the 3% Unlucky dudes

none of them work for me, which is rather unfortunate

It was a pain to have to install each one only to have to start my comp up in safety mode to unistall them, and then reboot again.

. Wish I had a Pentium, lol

i search about bootskin but not one of them i got an answer. is there anyway we can contact the maker of the program and make clear of it.. the official site about the bootskin have no documentary or anything they say about it..it such a cool program so i hope someone gotta help me about it...

...wow, well, my problem is not so bad. I just have one question. Is it possible ot make our own bootskins? the way we can make sins for window blinds with skin studio? If not how do we make them. I mean someone had to make all those bootskins...so how did they do it?
