You have to register yourself on the Metaverse using the same information you used on the submission screen in the game. Then do a search for your handle.

Seems like you have registered Charles. Remember to key in your player name, The Black Menace (spacings are impt) when they ask for your alias in the submission screen.

Charles, you may be one of the poor schmoes like me who, for no apparent reason, can submit scores successfully only imtermittently. Tells you it went through in the game, but the score never (or very rarely) appears. Someday Stardock will fix it. :)

Yes. same problem here.

Same problem here as far as intermittent submission difficulties goes....seems to be only during the weekend though. Had trouble last weekend and it worked last Monday, having trouble this weekend and hoping it will work again tommorrow.

If the score didn't go through, can it be resubmitted? I got a score of 11000+ and reeeeally want to see it submitted. (:(

Try re-registering on the Metaverse. I can't hurt to try again. If that doesn't work, check your internet settings, or if you are behind a firewall then try configuring it so that it can let you send the info.

Just got mine to go through tonight...seems to be weekend related for me...maybe something with the servers???? Or just a coincidence?

Still no luck with me. It gives me the message that it went through, but no luck. I'm going to try one more time. I'm really going to hate it if I can't submit this 11000 point score... >:(

EBZero - I'll try re-registering. The rest of what you list, I've done - "waking up" the net connection, setting the router to put my machine in the DMZ - and none of these produce reliable results.

James,

Are you connected to the internet before the game ending movie? After I've thought about my troubles, I think that is where I was having problems. I was not connecting to the internet until after the movie (but before the submission screen). It seems like a trivial bit but I can't think of anything else that was causing my problem.

Hope you get it submitted!

Barry - yes. I'm on a cable connection, and on the turn the game is going to end (before the ending movie), I alt-tab out, use Internet Explorer to surf a little bit (to wake up the computer to the fact is has a net connection), put my machine in the router's DMZ to get around firewall/NAT issues, and then hit the "End Turn" button.

It has worked only rarely.

I just blitzed through a quick game, did all the above (and I re-registered today), and it has not shown up, though I did get the submission successful popup.

Maybe some of us are just really unlucky! :notsure:

I would keep trying, though. It seems like you are getting some scores submitted.

I do keep trying, though not with much hope. I've played rather more than the three scores that actually made it through.... :notsure: On the other hand, it isn't as if the Metaverse submission is more than an extra cherry on top of the sundae. :)

Yes, it is just a cherry. But it seems like it should work a little better. :notsure:

I have tried repeatedly to get a score to submit but only 3 scores have been recorded. I have probably played 20 games to finality and tried to submit...it hangs after i hit the submit button until i hit it again, then it gives me the SUBMIT REPORTED SUCCESSFUL box...but it never submits.

I have a hardware firewall, but it worked 3 times...so what the heck?
