THE NEW EXP PACK????

This pack seeing screenshot of beta looked like it would have better graphics but i have the same with the exp pack. plus it was only 8.3 MB file it that right?

Yes, something like that. Frogboy released a couple of screenshots that were vastly different from what we're familiar with. They were from the GalCiv beta builds; perhaps those are what you've seen.
