Task bar System tray problems

I'm having a problem getting all open items to show up in my system tray and task bar. There is an empty space where the item should be but no logo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What program(s) do not show up? This seem to be program specific "error" andd btw, not all programs show up in the sytem tray or the taskbar.

PhotoImpact doesn't show up in the taskbar. ZoneAlarm doesn't in the system tray. Neither does windowblinds.
