Request Box?

First of all I would like to say that some of you are doing some awesome work with WB's..truely amazing and I personally thank all of you for the effort and the sharing!

Since I am not half as talented as most of you and there are WB's I would like to see created, I was wondering..might there be a sort of "Suggestion Box"? or board where authors can take a look and perhaps choose to take on a project or two?

Just a thought..I will probably give it a boyscout try myself eventually...But I have much to learn about it...Plenty of ideas, but lack the necessary skills & knowledge..

There is a request section in the General Forum https://www.wincustomize.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=193&AID=0&p=1&s=2&d=1 if you want to make a request. If you want to give making a blind a go, there are good resources such as Aleksyandr's site which has a tutorial http://www.aleksyandr.com/ and Skinartistry which has a workshop and SkinStudio classes http://skinartistry.com/ . If your pretty good with graphic design, you might ask about a collaboration with a skinner who is fluent with SkinStudio.

Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right directions Essencay...I do think that as soon as I can afford them I will buy all the programs and give skinning a shot..

Tutorials are good..::laughs:: and I have learned to read them after my last botch..(this should give everyone a good laugh) I tried to manually change my bootscreen, sure, in the tutorial that I read about how to do it, there was a big warning in red bold type, but did I pay attention?? NOOOOooooooooo..

lets just say things did NOT go well..LoL! I most definitely advise people use Stardocks proggs to do these types of things, the programs make life soooo much easier...Me personally..Well I am a bit stubborn and after I managed to recover my system I was back at it, and I managed to do it correctly this time..but thats me.
Unless your willing to possibly dump your system..Get stardocks programs..thats the best advice I have for everyone, and it's exactly what I am going to do..
