I HATE the Space Shark!!!!!!

1. I cannot play a game without one, I hope AP has a option.

2. It only harasses me. I watched it pass right by another race's colony ship yet go out of its' way to attack mine.

I hate them things, wish I could turn them off sort of a bummer that they are there.

I had one go on a rampage starting at the origin point for my trade routes. Then again, I also drew one off to hit somebody else ... and then there was the time they broke loose from somebody else's zoo.

they are a pain but fun to mess around with if you keep your survey ship away for long enough it will stop going after it and instead just wander around the galaxy i had one almost distroy the torian's befor really early in the beginning of the game it was totally wiping the floor with them.

How to play with Sharkie, simplified guide:

Spare one small ship, such as a scout, to lead Sharkie. Stay three squares ahead at all times. Lead Sharkie in direction of alien you wish to punish. When Sharkie very near target, burn away at full speed for a couple of turns, but preferably deeper into alien space and not back tracking into your own until later. Sharkie should now try to munch new target and follow the traffic from the new spot. Works best on starbases and near planets. If Sharkie is too near one of your planets and keeps killing ships defending the place, empty the planet of orbitting ships, get a ship to lead Sharkie astray, and make sure no new ships are produced there or arrive there until after he leaves on his merry chase.
