Do you eat at your PC?

Do you eat at your PC?

Boss' comments on a different thread made me think of this. I eat almost all of my meals, that I eat at home, at my PC. It's a real trick to keep crumbs out of the keyboard. Does anyone else do this?

Umm.....Yup!

Gotta clean out the crumbs from the keyboard about once a month.

I have a small side table on wheels to hold the bowl, plate, cup, or glass - though liquids are not allowed on desk with the electronics - household rule.

I nominate WebGizmos for best image in a post for this day!

I hate to admit this, Webgizmos, and it's quite embarrassing _ to say the least, but I have brought my laptop with me to the toilet! Of course, only if I realize in advance that I'm going to be there for a while! LOL!

Cheers, Bill!

And 00, The more I drink this wine, the better the reports those little darlings get!

I switched to Cabernet to have with my fish. Coffee for dessert.

Psssst..SD..Only one thing wrong with the Salmon..you cooked it!...I HATE ruined fish!..LoL

Have a great supper!

Zero.

OO, If you could only taste it. Instead of soy, I added some balsamic vinegar to offset the fish taste. mmmmmmmm

::laughs:: I am sure it is fantastic SD! I was kidding..

I really am not opposed to cooked fish..I eat ALOT of seafood..my favorite food on the planet!..even better than Pizza..LoL! (Uh-oh..im gonna get flamed by the Pizza lovers!!LMAO))
I do consume it cooked or not, but if I have the choice I usually prefer uncooked..but then that depends upon what it is being served, some seafood simply must be cooked...

LoL..Kids are getting smarter these days, I hope they do not catch on or I think you will be getting less "Apples" and more "Wine"..LoL..

All this needs is a dinner tray added to it and we could make millions!

The toilet water needs to be skinned with one of those blue tablets, though.

Yeah I must admit...when I walk in the door the first thing I do is park my butt in front of my PC....the first thing I do is check email on all my acounts and then come here a cruise the forums...play a few games...cruise around some more...sometimes aimlessly...change some skins around...mess with my backgrounds or make some new ones...screw up something and have to reformat...repeat all the above.

And I hate to say it as well 47Songs...if I had a laptop I probably would do the same

Now if some of you good graphic artist could somehow add a tv tray to that image it would be funny as hell.

Believe it or not WG, years ago there was an actual photo of a bathroom setup similar to your graffic being passed around the net as a joke....I have seen it emerge recently again..I'll see if I can get ahold of it and share...LoL..I think there is a TV in the mix..

Zero.

Almost all my breakfasts and lunches are eaten at my computer. My wife and kids are usually home for dinner, so we eat that the old fashioned way.... at the table.

Yeah, I get crumbs in my keyboard at times, but hey, it's a crummy micro innovations Wal~Mart special anyway!! ;~D

Here is the Pic..it is an old one..Sorry WG..no TV..LoL

Double Zero...That still looks pretty good! Hell...that's an even better setup than the one I posted...padded seat and all. And that's important for us old farts...can't be having the legs fall asleep.

I eat my meals with Mom at the kitchen table, unless she is away then I eat at my puter, which is where I spend most of my time!! As for crumbs in the keyboard, I vacuum the keyboard about once a month!!!

...gotta find me a seat like that. I could do without the phone. Nobody would appreciate talking to me in there.

a hospital commode chair works real well at the desktop, and wearing a babys plastic bib with food catcher for the crumbs works well

Actually I am jealous of you ALL!! I DONT GET TO EAT MY MEALS AT THE PC AT ALL!! Imagine that? I am out first thing in the AM and I dont return until after lunch and dinner is spent at the family table (because ya gotta make the kids eat there or the women would implode or some such thing) so all I may get is a qwik cup of coffee and toast or an english muffin maybe once in a good while before I run out for the day!
Oh and BTW..................... THAT PIC THAT DOUBLEZERO HAS ABOVE was originally taken on Bill Gates Airplane!

ROTFL!!! Yup, eat here when everyone is at work and it's just me and the cats!! Have to share the space with Zoe, however! She thinks the 'puter is hers!! Don't use a chair, sit on my exercise ball..it's better for my sciatica! Plus I can lie and say yup, I exercised if I roll back and forth and do a little balancing while I am busily churning out mo' better blinds!! Have to vaccum my keyboard once a week just to get the cat hair off it! And learned my lesson about open bevies at the 'puter when Zoe cleared the decks and nearly zapped my 'puter! Now it's bevies in bottles with a pop top!! Supper time (or Dinner, if you are the civilized type) is usually eaten in front of the tv with Hubby when he gets home! Sometimes we even use the dining table (GASP) and our son graces us with his presence - he is usually holed up in his room working on his 'puter( He is currently going to college and learning animation and game design).
