we know windows can be skinned throughrouly. xp can be skinned about 100% but i get annoyed while using and windows NT based OS's(non-xp) when you start up the welcome screen on windows 2000 and the winlogon dialog box is the always the same old boring screen and messes up the overall concept of winstyles or themes. i do not have much programming knowledge but wish to make a start on this. is there any way possible to skin these two items?(welcome screen,winlogon dialog box). i heard the background wallpaper during the winlogon dialog box can be changed. and people working to disable the welcome sceen and winlogon dialog box are also messing around with dll's does anyone know of any such project or attempts of this.
