Purchased GalCiv now...do I still get a CD?

I'm not quite clear on this. I get the impression from various parts of the site that I just purchased a 1 year subscription to this specific portion of Dregin.net, meaning it's all internet downloaded. Meanwhile, if I had waited until Feb 2003 when the game is out on shelves (assuming I could find it) I would have gotten a nice spiffy CD/manual/everything.

Can someone please clarify? Did my $45 also buy a hardcopy?

No. But when February rolls around, there will be an option to get some sort of physical media for a nominal charge.

It's not 100% settled exactly what form that will be, be at the least, it'll be a CD with a nice label and suitable dvd case. At most it may be a boxed copy like you could have gotten at retail. Remains to be seen.

That's insane! So if I had just waited until February I would have gotten a full boxed game? That's totally unacceptable - there's nothing on the site that explains that.

If you ordered directly from Stardock, you would have recieved the downloadable version either way.

You have the option of also recieving a CD when the game goes gold for a minimal charge (presumably mainly to cover shipping costs).
