ok bear with me this may take a wile....
anyway hears a few things i thought even thou it could been covered in multiple threads... these are just things i noticed and i wanted to state in one big thread.
ok a few of them to me are just what you could consider not super important to game play but adds to the game.
turrets .... ok this was a major anoyance since on the capital ships and the lessor ships. more improaly the aka tank ship or the heavy crusier. wich looks like a tank. made in space. that cant be helped to me i still like the idea. but if you put a large turret. i expect it to move. i think this may be saying it to early since its only the second beta. but i must say it. another thing thats just fulff.
the worlds... not that many and looking form the there games they made. aka where theres watter worlds radactive worlds and os on so forth. just need to get some more kinda of worlds. also i like the tiny space ships runign around the worlds. but i woudl more love to see lights in the worlds. alla people living there. also a day and night cycle on teh plant would be godly. but i might have missed that. to bizzy massing a armada to look at the full. also one more thing.
orbital bombardment. but need work. i love the explosions but i want to see for example a earth like planet. i want to see it burn. where you can see fires form orbit. that would be so cool.
second part i wanted to talk about is defense
which is the longest running thread hear. but i am putting eventing i can think of in one thread so hear goose. i think they should have some types of defenses. alla nuclear warhead icbm type of missiles.which can be lunched form the planet and attack nearby ships. thought of orbital guns. and that don't quite work. unless its some type of lazor. it cloudless work. also just move you fleet away form the side that has the guns and you wont get hit. wile missiles can be launched anywhere and hit anyplace. shields and such i cant truly say on that. thats truly the only thing that budged me was no missile defense. least for that part. also just on note there needs to be a anti fighter defense or something. it didn't bother me since i massed huge amounts of bships and waisted them all. o also make gauss cannons more like the cannons on halo 2. super powerful that can punch a hole in most capital ships.
anoter thing to me is this. fighters are way to over powerful. unless you are well prepared for a army of long range fighters. or wait for them to come into the galaxies and destroy them up close. but thats not the thing. its that most ships cant target it. specially capital ships. now in games like homeworld. you know they could attack a squad of fighters. could they hit them... no. but when my capital ship is trying to attack a group of light carriers thats on the other side of the map. just have to joke the ships and let the fighters do there job. puts more empathizes on ensuring you have flack frigates. but it still make it to powerful. since only 2 things can hit it. and ones a hero skil. thats all for now i can think.
