I'm not buying a Ps3, but the price drop will initially move serious units (Sony is thinking it may increase sales up to 50%) for a short amount of time. I think Microsoft smells the blood in the water and they'll probably counter with some sales move within the next few months to prepare for the holiday season. RTS Games, when I actually get the chance I play CnC: Generals - which has a new (for some, unpopular) twist on the series and Emperor the latest Dune Game from Westwood. Though Emperor is a fine update to the Dune RTS series, Generals is the better game. I love them both - wish I had more time for them.
