Does my standing Duty yesterday count? LoL I was at least able to give my thanks to some Vietnam Vets and such that they had visiting the base today so at least I was able to thank those that had come before me. And am always thinking about those who aren't here for me to thank.

I've learned that cotton will dewrinkle just fine after maybe 5-10 minutes in the dryer ;) Has saved me some time of the last couple years... all I gotta dois add the creases..

Figured I'd spoil it for them all. Been a rought few months recently. Just getting through a lot of inspections and underways. Though things are soon to calm down for a 'bit' at least... then back to the grind and another deployment in January.. LoL

It's odd that so much has happened and yet I don't have much to say? Or maybe that's just a diversion tactic of my own to keep my from the hard topics... In truth a lot of what I might say won't be much of a read to any but maybe my Wife. She's the one who knows what I'm talking about and might grab more from it than anyone else. So I will start at the beginning in the full blatant truth. I've cheated on my wife. She's known of this for a long time now

This is part of the infamous "X Factor" that was so popular a subject years back. There is no civilian counterpart to deployment to hostile climes. It is part of what makes those who serve so special. Well as I talked to my wife about it, if I have to go I have to go. Nothing we can much do about it.

... *falls over laughing* I can't help than compare this to the 2 hour long bus ride we had in Martinique Chile..... Oh the stories there I Love your stories man, Definately keep them up!!

I serve in the US Navy. It seems my life is full of service and I can live with that. In fact I love this life of service =) It's a rough life in many ways. We are working a lot of days with really long hours. And to those of you who know something about the inner workings of the Navy, YES, even us supply guys can work long hours =P But I digre

Well I listen to techno now while I run cuz Zepp has a great tempo but I don't feel it as a running tempo myself. I'm not middle aged but I LOVE Zep, beatles, iron Maiden, CCR and a lot of the Good stuff. The new stuff doesn't much get me though I will listen to some new Heavy Metal and Rock. I can picture the look you get though easily enough.. LoL

Bah, forgot to add that you should keep it up and your enthusiasm is awesome Just don't be surprised if you slow down and maybe gain a pound or two or don't lose any weight for a week or two. Just keep at it and the pounds will start dropping!!

Well I'm going to try and temper your enthusiasm a 'bit' at least... Once you start working out you are going to slow down on loosing weight for a bit. Don't get me wrong it's perfectly normal and healthy for you. When you first start working out you are going to gain muscle weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. Though in the long run that muscle is MUCH better for you than the fat because that muscle will consume more calories,

Glad to hear anyone fighting for our cause is back home safely I got to see my brother if only for a night after he made it back from Iraq also and I know the feeling. I'm glad he's back and back safely.

I havn't posted for a while I realise... Just never had the motivation I guess. We have had one hell of a rough yards period recently that we just got out of. Because of all the civilian workers on the boat we would have to wait until after there working hours to run any drills. We'd start our normal drills at about 1530 and they would normally run for about 2-3 ho

Good luck over there Bro. I'll be over there on my boat soon to give you some backup firepower..... point and click I guess... Wish I could do more

Plant a LOT of tree's... millions upon millions of tree's and as many plants as we can. Since plants take the CO2 out of the air and produce normal oxygen.... just seems like a good option... Though if we plant too many and suddenly we are producing too much oxygen, then that'll start another cult....

The list wasn't about you. Not every liberal fears those things. But some definitely do. It's a list of things liberals fear, it is not a list of things EVERY liberal fears. And yet the title of this blog is.. "What liberals fear" Not what 'some liberals fear'

My Dad went to college with Fred Rogers. He said he met him once and that he was someone he'd wished he'd have had more contact with. Because of his show, and all he's done I don't doubt his wish to do that once bit. Fred seems to be one of those great souls that you always wish everyone should know. Lucky to Tim that he was able to make such a connection. I've known way too many ministers who are the best people ever out there.<

Yes, Fuck you all! Both sides suck.. What can I say? Maybe I'm not so liberal as I've sometimes said I am. I can't stand liberals. But fuck you to conservatives because I can't stand you either. Maybe it's both to the people you all deserve to have stand for you? I can stand Steven Colbert and Jon Stewart and agree and disagree with the

Hmmm... I support America.. With my life right now because I'm in service. I don't deny that some of our policies are wrong... but hell we're ALLOWED to say that... and that above all means more to me than anything. Some of the countries I've been to have told me about how they can't even disagree with their rulers else that means gistopo (sp?) action... 1) I don't fear it one Lick... 2) Definately don't fear it, what the hell are you trying to say, liberals aren

Well I definately admit I'm no runner myself. Normally if I run 3 miles I'm about to die... LoL There is always peace and tranquility found in nature though. And it sounds like a lot of your runs and such are made through there so I can't deny any pleasure in it. I admit that if I was able to run through the woods and countryside instead of through the paved jungle I'd be more willing to run at any time. Always enjoy and love natu

I'm actually really really impressed with this feature alone. I've seen so many skins that I loved but were never in the color of my choice. A great idea and great improvement.
