Microsoft was hit with many complaints about it Read nitwits who are still running @ 800x600 have got hold of this due to the public release of beta two and have had a huge bey-atch that it takes up the majority of their screens. Hopefully I can turn this "auto minimise" off, if it ain't broke don't fix it!

I'm really past caring about Vista, they should just move on to the next OS which should be wothy of upgrading from XP. Now before everyone starts bey-atching on the "new features" list their is ab-so-lut-ely NOTHING on it that would warrant me throwing over the buckazoids!

I really like Enhanced Dialog-- it's a great boost for efficiency when downloading & saving files. It's frustrating thought that every update over-writes my settings-- my only complaint. It would be nice if we could update withoug having to reset everything. Yeah it [blanks] me as well. Great little utility though

The question is whether Microsoft can deliver those pieces with the polish, integrity, and reliability that users expect. Polish... Yeah it needs a lot more bloody polish then I've seen so far, unless screenshots really don't do it justice for some reason? I thought every old icon was meant to be replaced?

I updated to 0.92[b].002 (11/04/2006) and Jeezus someone seems to have screwed up among the "fixes" we have: 'Fixed crash when clicking the Recent dropdown.' Now I did have the occassional problem with the recent dropdown. NOW I ALWAYS HAVE IT!! For example I have it with WMP10, Winamp, DivX player, and Roxio EMC 7.5 components (running XP Pro SP2). Now I realise you install a beta ya takes ya chance, but seriously this wouldn't e

PS: I tested IE7 and it had a lot of bugs, I had to uninstall it and go back to IE6! It works fine for me but just like Vista the interface does not look like it has been thought out. Doesn't MS have the cash for some designers to sit beside the programming nerdlingers and say "nah it looks cr@p"

It's late again SO! I still haven't found a good resaon to upgrade from XP Pro SP2 which is running extremely stable for me. They've spent five years for SFA, the interface (which by the way was ment to be upgraded before release) is just apaulling, it looks like they've just dumped the components needed on the screen and not arranged them in much order (throw IE7 in that boat as well). Neowin have reported that the head of Office will trans

Been using office 12 (2007) since the last prerelease, around november I think. Was good then, is great now. I agree with people about the default blue skin but seriously how many simple users even change from luna blue to silver in XP? The black skin is cool though

Nope still not interested, XP does a good enough job. For those who think Vista will be security paradise think again, while what has been done will/may close a lot of current holes do you really think people won't find new ones? Their are nerds out their who enjoy dong that kind of cr@p! Microsoft said their would be a minor release between Whistler (XP) and Blackcomb which was codenamed Longhorn, it still seems like they are playing that b
