The original image is sized 1024x1024 and weighs 523k.
Theres a larger one out there it's 2000x2000 which really helps with the ST ships
I hate EA and with there latest iteration of copy protection for Mass Effect and Spore that probably won't change unless a red sun explodes and sends them a super human gamer exec.
Awesome!! Yeah that's all I got cause I am speechless.
Awesome stuff, keep up the great work!
*BUMP* cause we don't want to lose track of such a cool mod!
:SURPRISED: Very Nice!
interesting, checking out t minus...crap downloads done l8r!
Edix what speed is your primary hard drive? Reason I ask is because I have an old Hitachi Fireball in my old 3400 AMD (socket754 so single core) with 1gig ddr ram, onboard ac97 and a AGP 7800 video card, this game runs slow as crap with that drive because its only an ultra 66 and I can't find any info on your c drive what so ever so I am guessing it is ultra 66 as well. If you aren't sure or don't know how to tell download Everest and it will tell you the max udma transfer, make sure to get the
Edix could you please post your system specs and also how are you installing SoaSE by digital download or physical media?
Hey Terraziel thanks for the info though for me a day late and a dollar short (only cause I figured most of this out by trial and error I'm sure you did to) but very in depth and a good reference tool for any one making a mod.
Oh, I didn't realize that till now Eomega. I still think they use both... perhaps the dadelous class has a secondary bridge like the Auroa class battleship. I still haven't seen the Ark of Truth yet, is it any good?
Ark of Truth is defiantly worth the buy, they have the press event of San Diego's Comic Con in there and they have a few tidbits about the 2nd dvd Continuum coming out in July.
You guys rock thanks for the update!
I love the changes and this game is so much fun Ironclad / Stardock. Keep up the great work and if there is anything I could wish for with this game it would be a free campaign mode to flush out the back story. All in all I have had this since day 1, I love it regardless of not having a campaign (though it wouldn't hurt) and I defiantly gotta give this game a 4 out of 5! Lastly thanks for the updated mod support makes things a lot easier for us!
Edix I would defiantly do the mem test with memtest86 and the Prime95 just to cover your bases and I know this is going to sound weird but have you defragged lately? I have been working on a mod and when one of my .mesh files go corrupt it caused a minidump issue as well, of course this only happened when I activated the mod and it ran fine if not slow with out it activated and just the default game type. When I did finally decided to do a defrag it was something like 20%, I had not kept up on i
I know this is a newbie question but I am going to ask anyways. After going through the read me I can not find the final step where "Checking out with face uses which material id:" there is a picture and I can't figure out where this is and would appreciate any help you guys can give me. I have managed to figure out everything else but this step.
My view is if the game can run on many systems on not just a select few like Crysis you aren't going to do to well and there are too many games moving to the stereotype that you should upgrade and play the game at its best or not at all on an older system. I Love my PC, I have been building my own PC's for 13years now and I will never buy from dell or any one else cause what I put my machine together for was literally 3g less than Alienware and 2.5g less than dell. Now not every one can upgrade
great work keep it up!
dark they said multiple times that 1.03 fixes that issue. They said that 2 weeks ago and a few other times, latest time was in reply 89 in the preview thread.
All he said was that he is looking forward to it thus glad they are making that change because it's a pain at the moment to make a mod that starts off at over 1gb before you start anything.
I will defiantly be using this when it comes out!
Here are a few more reviews to add up there! Sins of a Solar Empire - CrispyGamer - Buy it http://www.crispygamer.com/_GeneratedPages/GameReviews/Review109.aspx Sins of a Solar Empire - Gaming Nexus - 9.2/10 http://www.gamingnexus.com/Default.aspx?Section=Article&I=1776
I defiantly remember pong! Does any one remember when Snake first came out on the Commodore 64? I remember that one very well because the book we got to program it had a misprint and I was told by my mom that it would have to wait.
I still play SCFA but I defiantly enjoy playing this more cause the AI is more competent than SCFA or C&C3 for that matter.
great work keep it up!
Another thing I would also like to see is a Build Que list with the ability to remove and move researchable items up and down that list so we don't have to find what is being built in front of it remove it than readd what you want again. I sill would like to see the Military and Civilian research be independent again because we have to create separate facilities to preform research there shouldn't be a wait to start for military if you are researching civilian stuff all ready.
