Change the white to magic Pink RGB 255 0 255 or save the file as a .png with white as the transparent color..
for once it is blatenly obvious that there is a speed increase when using a stardock product over the MS standard issue one. I converted the current WBXP skin I'm workin on to OB and it is definatly faster than the windows standard when showing menus.. Great Job Jeff
David: You can still use winzip with XP but it's not necessary, Since XP will do both on it's own along with treating a zip file as a folder for the most part.
Boxxi: If a person is gonna use a .logon file they will I expect have XP which for the normal person eliminates the need for Winzip since XP can zip and unzip without winzip. so without winzip the directions would be: 1. If the file has a .zip extention right click on it and choose Extract All. 2. click next then click browse: Browse to C:\Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio 3.click next and then finish ( be sure to leave "show extracted files" ch
Yea YEA I know harder than I might think....... >
Your problem stems from Stardock trying to hold everyones hand and make the wba files install automatically. Why can't we do it the way bill says everytime and just have faq on how to install skinz? I mean jeez how hard is it to teach simple file system structure?
I try to use the creative section of my brain, Though as most know it rarly seesin anything but greyscale. Seriously though most of the time it's PSP 7 with the occasional need for PS 6 and a dab of metacreations stuff ( Bryce, Filters, Ect....)
JavaBrain loves me! /me jumps in the truck and heads for Javabrains house!
/me wonders if Frogboy has any of them Samoran Desert froggies up there with him?
Haven't seem then yet but it would be a great Idea especially if they were in all standard sizes up to at least 64x64!
Feline I have a shelf in the closet just for punishing those type of jeans!
That's the idea, I have XP at work and home but, most of my friend and coworkers that see my computer have no idea what system I'm running because of the everchanging themes. such as right now I'm running jtfolden's OB theme H2O_pro with a Slim T skin ( in progress).
I find that when my jeans don't fit it's time to get back to the gym.
/me thinks I'm getting really tired of LancerKMT > /me thinks he needs to save his pennies, get a mac and get outa here.... maybe I'm a little irritable today though, what does everyone else think?
Just ensure that you get your box set up skin wise before they see it's running XP.. Then they will most likly never know the difference..
I have now messed with winstyles and either I'm just not interested enough to figure it out or I need the idiots guide.. Tried to apply the biege theme, It downloaded from WinC and then nothing.....
I thinks we will have to wait and see what happens. Something does irritate me about this program downloading skins from sites other than wincustomize, but I suppose Brad and the gang have done all the talking to make this ok.
I have been using MS VWM and It works great! In the options I unchecked the shared desktops and then configured the wallpaper fron the menu and have had no problems..
right click on an open area of the desktop and choose "Properties" Or you can get there through the control panel by choosing "Display".
to make sense of the long answer: You would have to manipulate the graphics in the .Msstyles to fit windowblinds way of looking at them and then write the UIS file that makes them work.
Short answer NO Long answer If you are willing to tear apart the graphics that people are using to build .msstyles you could. However you must get permission if you plan to upload someone elses graphics. Question With currently 56 WBXP skinz and 1473 WB skins ( which can be used with XP) Why would you want to convert .msstlyes?
It all boils down to marketing and software availiability.
