An easy fix.. Just get laser V, stick on on a tiny ship and pump them out of a few factorys it will cut into your income but you wont be getting mobbed by ravenous AI unless they have some massive tech edge and are using phasors while you use lasers... Really its pretty easy to scare the AI into thinking your a massive military monster the ship you make as your new "defender" doesnt need engines.. just firepower

If you do not wish to be attacked watch the military ranking graph and make sure you are in the top 3 and the Ai will choose to fight the weaker races, also never ever under any circumstances put my favorite race of maniacs in your game the Drengin I also have had nasty experiences with the yor making suicidal declarations of war on me inspite of a huge advantage in my favor so if you avoid both the yor & drengin in your game that will probably help go

A mammal is just something that has mammaries, and I don't see any. I think they look more like Teddy Ruxpin, or Gremlins (from "Gremlins"). Or even an Ewok/Yoda hybrid. I know they are pure evil.. They look like highly evolved apes and thats about it. They clearly are meant to be seen as something else as they call humans mammals and apes, What gives? It tells me what most of the other races origins are reptile, insect etc.. so what is a drengin?
