Aawww...I'm getting impatient for the final 2.0 to come out. Still no word I take it.

Just wondering that since there's been little activity in the GC2:TA 2.0 official post, whether anyone knows if there's been an update to the timeline for release or not. Thanks!
Have these been added to the Gamefaqs lists?
Yes, is there a release date yet for 2.0? Haven't seen one...
I could never figure out why people are so desperate for an in-game clock. The devs aren't your bloody mothers. By desperately groping for such insertions, you only call attention to your own pathological inability to balance games with your own lives. The person who pointed out their RL clock is totally correct. Good grief, people, would you like the game to change your colostomy bags while doing other RL-management things? Wait, don't answer that.
Bloody whiners...like a bunch of three year olds...
I think that Sins would be very well suited to a "world domination" kind of single-player pseudo-campaign, like is used in the Dawn of War Dark Crusade expansion
Agreed. Not so much a campaign as an open-ended strategic arena with set maps and customizable hero units. I think this might work very well here.
I'll echo others: big random maps on medium-hard. It's not impossible, but it will be a challenge to a casual gamer. Even if you know your victory is inevitable, it will keep you on your toes and sweating.
This is very, very good news. I think it's a great idea to divide up these updates, especially since the response to 1.03 was so mixed. Good work, guys.
^bump Agree with OP.
Also, fraudulous is not a proper word (though people seem to use it). You are looking for fraudulent.
haf haf haf...you beat me to it! ;)
Is this 1.03 compatible?
Yes, I had the same result. Understandable, given all the changes. To modders: any idea about timeline for changes? I can't go back to vanilla after using your mods! :D
As a counter-opinion, I'll just say that I think a single player campaign would be a complete waste of time.
I agree 100%. I never played the campaign in GalCiv II, or very many other TBS or RTSs. There are exceptions, like Starcraft or Homeworld, but an incredible amount of work went into those stories, and really, their replayability suffered as a result. I would far prefer a detailed and enhanced sandbox mode (more control over a generated universe) than a linear, scri
Happy about the improved AI. Got fingers crossed for defense improvements and an overhaul of diplomacy...don't see them mentioned here, hopefully they're included in "small changes" (although they don't seem like "small changes" to me...).
1. Improved Diplomacy. (I never, ever bother completing quests as in a matter of minutes they will revert to my enemy.) 2. Longer Tech-tree (or longer research times) to match length of games. (Tech tree tends to max out WAY before endgame.) 3. Improved Planetary Defence. (Huge forces make defence utterly pointless.) 4. Improved Fighters/Bombers. 5. More distinctions in Race Techs/Buildings. (Too much similarity between them as it stands.) 6. Improved Cap Ships. (In large
Thanks so much for the quick and helpful reply, Kyro. Yay Stardock! I've yet to encounter a company that makes things so easy for the average user... Thanks again! T.
Sorry for the stupid question. Here's my situation: I have GalCiv II on my current computer, which I will soon be trading in for a new one (all current info on my current one has to be purged). The question is: how do I download GalCivII again without paying for it again? Very much looking forward to getting the expansion when I get my new computer BTW. Thanks for any help you can give! T.
