So... how is the hotfix applied? I guess I can just uninstall used-to-be-impulse, then, yes? If they're completely separate, patches and such will all be from Stardock.com.
The patch was a separate download from the same place. That is correct that if you do not need impulse for any other games, you can uninstall it.

It's in its own folder it made when I downloaded the beta. All that's there is my old WoM install. So even if I download the patch separately, how would I automatically get the hotfix? It would be good to see some other mechanic replace this somehow. Most other games let you shut off your area to others, so you can use your ZOC to block choke points. Anyone have any ideas on a mechanic to replace that?

Great idea. I think I'd prefer to keep it fairly simple. Click the build outpost button, and you are presented with a choice of outpost type. Select from list, and no upgrades from there. Keep it as un-city like as possible. Just my opinion of course, I could probably be persuaded differently though! :)

Derek, I've got this bug in FfH2 I need you to... I KID, I KID! Seriously though, have any of you others had your unit(s) go the exact opposite direction from where you clicked on the screen? It doesn't happen often, but every now and then it just takes off the wrong way, don't believe it is anything like trying a different way around mountains or something like that either. You know, maybe a compromise would be good to try. Although I lean towards the one square city myself, I could see maybe gaining a square for every level of city. You would place that one square where you wanted it. Still smaller than nine, but bigger than one, so you can influence towards resources. Don't actually place buildings inside literally, go Civ style with that. Also, I guess we would need some type of building rule, so there isn't really just a snake city. i.e. A st
quoting post There will be NO multiplayer While internally we have multiplayer, we’ve turned it off. The release game won’t have it either. The reason is that tactical battles would have to be rewritten to support it (MP code needs to be message based but the tactical battles all call directly to internal variables which makes it easier to have greater performance but it means no MP).
