I would like to see a series after the Federation falls. There have been so many where they win by the skin of thier teeth. After the Enterprise series I want to see them lose. I know that that is cynical, but that would be an interesting place to go!

Ron doesn't SDC do that for you?
hey even they say that logistics are based off research! :P Has anyone limped along on the research tree?? I mean if that is the greatest critique they can come up with then SINS is still doing AMAZING!!
Stop fighting or I'll raise both your bounties.
*brings forth TEC UBER FLEET OF DEATH* (now based on research) :p
Schod one word OWNED
its a very violating feeling not just to be dead, but to be dead and silent.
:O Is there any other way to be dead? Besides we all know that your going to keep talking even after YOUR dead :P
And so this is why SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE PWNS THE NOOBS!
As Ron said above, battle chatter didn't make it in time for release but its still something we intend to add, probably in one of the content updates.
Its almost time for release! Is a new official trailer going to be made?
Crap i don't get the channel :SNIFF!:
quote]Unless, of course, the "fleet point building" (if there is one) isn't logistics based, but some other quantity-based (of which the volcanic planets might have more of). We just don't know yet.
On another post it was let known that the fleet points will be done off of research. THis way even if someone loses his planets then the fleet still will not suffer.
Did you take into account that the Vassari only have to upgrade one tech while the TEC have to upgrade 2? The mining tech really don't until you have amassed large fields. If you have a minning bonus from exploration then it really starts to kick in! Of course the this is good early game after you research the latter (level two techs for Vasari) it is strange to have the staggared resource requirements now. Esp when the requirements for crystal are so high!
Noob.
that was nice... there was once a time when you two were a noob...
yes welcome! See you don't have to be in the beta to WANT this game :p
THere have been some new additions, like wormholes, and with the Fleet points now dependant on supply no one is quite sure what the volcanic panets will do now. Desert planets seem to have gone up in usefulness now!
Well looks like it gets around :D
hmm I remember Mr. Blair Fraiser saying that if sins did well new content would be realeased... :HOT: Im thinking that those are the blogs and screenshots :SNIFF!:
Well so far i don't think that anyone has been able to build and integrate a shared damage item into the game... Talk to P5yy. Another place is to jump in the IRC channel.
haha a "prepubescent Napoleon" *looks at schod* well maybe not Napopleon :P (to be clear, that's sarcsm) But that is definatly true about sins. If you try with the uber fleet of death to rush, there are SO many stragies to knock you down. Try coming back from that defeat when i send in my diverse well balanced fleet to kill your HW while you rebuild :D But it said you can choose you AI personality! So that means that Blair integrated himself into the AI! How
ahh spam pole i remember you well. People spamed the other games to get them reset too so this wasn't a good pole.
lol spartan
equanimity empire equipoise
I do not think that some people would know what that means if ir just appeared in the article :P I am really surprised that people are finding out about this game now. I found out about it through the Stardock newsletter! This "appearance" has been brewing for ages. There has been a void ever since Starcraft II (yes i said the 's' word) never came out. But now that it is coming out, Sins has taken prio
This is where the Vasari shine. Their upgrade is for both metal and crystal. Especially with the Slave Labor upgrade the buildings themsleves become much more affordable. Since the gamma research looks to be quite different I have no idea how things will work out now. In case you haven't heard the fleet logistics are now determined by research. Go desert planets!
sweet! keep writing!
sweet!!! its already added to my other forum accounts.
hmm i think there have been many changes on the internal builds. I think that the beta 4 we have is FAR and AWAY from the game thats on the inside. What is truly amazing is the detail and new content that has been added and changed since beta 4 went out. The multiplay lobby looks sweet! Now if there only were people who hung around in it.....
-_- dont tell me you named an AI after me.
ooo so thats y the ai is so easy!
