I don't mean to nitpick or anything, cause I like this story, its great, but you need to work on your structure. Indent new paragraphs and start new ones when someone different begins speaking. Also, you forgot a couple quotation marks. Anyway, good job and keep up the good work!

I totally agree with Zenicetus, It would take away from the rest of the game. If the devs focused so much on realism than turns would be measured in months, and it would take years to make a planet usable. Populations would be measured in millions instead of billions, and my head would explode trying to manage the economy. When a game gets too real it becomes a massive vortex of fun-suck. There is enough micro involved in medium maps and larger, I don't want anymore!

Okay, that makes sense (your extended dating system). That even makes population growth on the GalCivII scale slightly more believable. Because going from 500 million to several billion in any length of time short of 100 years or more is just plain crazy.

This is a pretty good AAR, the best part is how it was an actual struggle to win this game, and you (both the player and the reader) didn't know how it would turn out. All in all, its pretty good, but not the greatest.

I didn't mean it as a complaint, and I'm sorry if it came off that way. It was just an observation. For instance, Sam Dragonshadow sounds like an Orc Far Seer, or a Blademaster. Tex Hammersword sounds like it could be a Paladin, or a Beastmaster. I hope you start putting in some story soon.

Not bad, a few grammar/spelling mistakes, but not bad. Although, I have to admit that AARs based on the Terrans are getting pretty old. If you want this AAR to be a success you'll have to really sell it, make it stand out amongst the many other Terran AARs. Perhaps tell it in a slightly different style, like "Diary of a Terran Soldier", "The Other Shoe", or "Green Pastures." Those are some of the most original AARs ever written, and they are some of the best aswell.
