Back to traffic... I hate how when I try to merge, the oncoming cars speed up trying to prevent anyone from being in front of them. The other day on my way home I was merging with a 45mph speed zone. I was merging at a speed of 60mph and nearly got plowed over...and then the guy had the nerve to pass me and slow down.

I'm tired of politicians being paid ridiculous amounts of money to sit in a big room, argue with each other, and accomplish little to nothing at all. Being more concerned about how what they do makes them look than whether it's good for the country. Politicians are no longer "By the people, for the people" they're "By the people, for themselves". Theres not a single one out there on either side of the aisle that represents me - they can say they do, but rich jer
Well earth is about 4 billion years old. And that is scientific fact. But of course that doesn't mean that there is no god. Nope, it doesn't disprove god...just the bible.
Just a wild guess, so I could be wrong; but... Maybe check your monitor's connection to your vid card, and make sure vid card is securely in its slot on the mobo, and graphics drivers are up to date.
Iceciro, SLI won't help in SupComm anyway. A multicore CPU, good single graphics card, and 2 or more GB of RAM are the important components. What is your single-core CPU? Pyrion, The extra RAM may be just what you need, what are your CPU and video card specs? A really good single core may run SupComm acceptably...also, the devs are looking to make more optimizations in upcoming patches so that may help. From what I have heard, they concentrated on stability more than efficiency
Anywhere is better than Microsoft. It's a pity games wont follow soon Sorry if I'm rude Lotherius, But you talk shit.,..... Sure sign of a FUD spreader, when debunked with factual, non-inflated claims, respond with an ad hominem attack. Also, IIRC, the quote you started this thread with was from a couple years back, and is the reason Vista was delayed...because MS listened to him. <div
Running a program in debug mode can make it easily use twice the ram it would run in release mode. The larger the map you use, and the more items such as ships, planets, stations, detailed textures, sounds, etc... in the game, the more memory it will take up. In most cases, it doesn't matter how much virtual memory you have, other than it means you don't run out of memory. If your program actually has to use it, it will most likely greatly slow down that program because hard drives are much much
With my free AOL account as an AOL employee I get McAfee. Prior to that I used Avast! which like AVG is free for personal use; both have good reputations. Yeah, AVG and Avast are both adequate. Avast seems to have almost no system impact at all, but from what I have heard relies heavily on defs, so it won't catch new stuff (granted, probably good enough considering how up to date they keep those defs). AVG, well it is good enough as long as you stay away
Unlike others here, I have always gone by the rule of using as little pagefile as possible if you have more than a 1GB of ram. I ran my machine fine for months without even having a pagefile until I installed the Company of Heroes demo. Even then, I only set my pagefile at the minimum the game would accept. Note that I had no problem playing the game, it just refused to even start without the pagefile configured. Windows often tends to swap things out sooner than it should, causing performance p
Check out a program called xnview. It isn't much of an editor, more of an image browser/manager, but it lets you open and save almost any image format to any other image format...and it is free. www.xnview.com
