ok guys this is definitly weird/bad when i had posted this i had already tried reinstalling gfx and dx drivers those didn´t work. The Sins folder is exactly as you specified. I tried your idea with readjusting settings manually, none of that worked, but one: It works if i start SINS in windowed mode and then switch to fullscreen via the ingame menu. But if i quit and restart it fails me again.

well we hae the small shipyard construct frigates and cruisers, why not have the large one construct destroyers and capships?
One this game gets dynamic battles (ships flying around each other instead of playing sitting duck) even just a little its gonna be so fucking epic
I personally would like Turreted ships with homeworld 2 esqe Individual ship AI, 3D movement within a grav well, another class of ships (destroyer class. not quite Capital but not really Crusier either), a few more usful ships for each class. Currently Cruisers are all basically worthless due to the fact only one of them has a decent direct attack ability. what he said! the ammount and versability of sup
but larger ships have a higher chance to hit them!
1.Whispering to specific players or allies/enemies is available by entering chat mode and hitting tab. I meant in the lobby ^^; That its possible ingame i know, but it would also be nice for the lobby without having to join a private room.
Ok, after checking around with the online mode a bit i have a few suggestions: -Whisper function (/name or by clicking on a name) to send a message to one player only -Being able to check and talk in the lobby channels while in the ready room or in the join game room (to invite people, continue talking while the game fills up) -Player statistics (maybe, this can be good and bad, maybe let the user enable if he wants to show his stats)
Is this possible to implement? This would be a great way to slow down or halt enemy advances. Either by them being a building at low cost and low tactial points requirements or as a capship ability. That way you could even use it to cover your retreats. If it would do damage depending on ship size it would be awesome: larger ships are toasted if they attempt to fly through, while smaller craft can pass relatively unharmed. Also it being cloaked and for example only being
I like the idea of upgradable bases, but they shouldn´t be super, just tier 2-3 defenses (gauss/hangar being tier 1) to with time and money replace the outdated weapon stations
The grouping should work exactly the way you described it in you last paragraph, that would be great The thing with lategame battles is that of course ideally you have a few small fleets, but overall you got a lot more supply which results in bigger, much worse managable battles. As for the idea of the allegiance to control lategame money flow, i think its kinda of a bad approach, since it re
Yeah i would love to see actual shot dynamics, but i think that would be hell to calculate with all the ships around.
Could someone upload it to a host that is not totally sh*t?
Oh, another point i forgot: Squads instead of single ships for smaller classes / More permanent grouping: With huge fleet battles going on, it can be hard to discern what is going on even with only icons of the ships being displayed. I would rather prefer instead of building single small ships like cruisers and frigates if they came in small squads (like 6-8 for frigates and 2-3 for cruisers) and only shared a single icon. Would be much better to manage and in my idea also l
Hi guys, long time player, first time poster I have played and tested the game since beta 1 and i have to say it has come a long way. Having also collected ideas since then i want to put them out for discussion. As for the game itself i have found relatively few bugs while playing against the AI. Only thing that really bugs me is that while sometimes zooming out the camera complet
