First row: population and money second row: research points and a resource third row: 2 resources i guess 3 is right,if you dont count the research as one
If i remember correctly Each race will use 2 resources, 1 primary 1 secondary. dont remember how many in total, but all races will use a common one, so there will be something to fight over

When a player leaves the game the AI takes over. Yeah they are hard, but if the player leaves at start of the game, the AI is no problem, either in late game though But i guess it depends on how you play
Wow this was really a good interview one of the things i really like is Killer Betties: Can you talk about the fully adaptive enemy AI? How exactly does it react to player and how does it learn from its mistakes? Blair Fraser: I should make it c
My understanding is that there will be fleet commanders in SoaSE so my question is this - Do fleet commanders work like they do in Rome Total War where they will gain experience for each battle or do they simply act as a wsy to represent the AI fleet management within the game? Dunno if the fleet commander will be present, but would be nice though.<br
Yeah would be nice to "auto" reinforce a fleet. Lets say i have: My main fleet and 2 smaller fleets 1 of smaller fleets is on to explorer some planets in a solar system, and the other is at my homeplanet. My main fleet is attacking a planet, but needs some help. So it would be nice to be able to set up my 2 smaller fleets to reinforce the main fleet if needed.
The possible major chink in this otherwise cohesive system's armor is combat. It would seem nigh suicidal to, say, devote your attention to the marketplace when one of your holdings is under attack. Ironclad's solution is a hefty AI system that can provide a viable defense even if completely automated. Your units can be set to auto-attack hostiles, and they'll have some so
