When a player leaves the game the AI takes over. Yeah they are hard, but if the player leaves at start of the game, the AI is no problem, either in late game though But i guess it depends on how you play

My understanding is that there will be fleet commanders in SoaSE so my question is this - Do fleet commanders work like they do in Rome Total War where they will gain experience for each battle or do they simply act as a wsy to represent the AI fleet management within the game? Dunno if the fleet commander will be present, but would be nice though.<br

Yeah would be nice to "auto" reinforce a fleet. Lets say i have: My main fleet and 2 smaller fleets 1 of smaller fleets is on to explorer some planets in a solar system, and the other is at my homeplanet. My main fleet is attacking a planet, but needs some help. So it would be nice to be able to set up my 2 smaller fleets to reinforce the main fleet if needed.

well most single player demos (and betas) tend to have a small storyline mission and maybe a tutorial. they also tend to have a player vs cpu skirmish mode available also so i highly doubt ironclad will not include these features as they seem like the type of people that they want their testers to get a full feel for the game. Atm im beta-testing
