Why try it? Firefox is better. That is not opinion; that is fact. The option of extensions lets the way you use firefox explode in possibilities. Skins change the look tenfold, whereas Safari is stuck with that gray stuff. I don't really consider not using Firefox a possibility.

Why so much google hate? they got to be so big because they provided a good service the right way. no bloat on the website like msn, yahoo, aol, ask.com or any others. and its so customizable with extensions for firefox and the ilk. and whoa, whats wrong with linux? beryl ftw.

And a BIG gripe for me, is how unlike IE7 (and firefox? i dont know), you cannot set it to always open new links in a new tab in the same window. So if a website has an A tag with a target set to a new window, i get an actual NEW WINDOW, which kinda defeats the purpose of tabbed browsing. I am pretty sure Firefox has the ability to use just one window. I've used it since.. before version 1 and I rarely ever have two Firefox windows op

No chance it'll take place. Importing bookmarks is a hassle. Most RSS feeds are broken with impoting. I admit, it does look a lot nicer then the default firefox 2 and IE screens, but customization is what makes FF the best(safarai has little to no supported customizing), and IE is still there because it comes default with Windows machines. I have no idea what Operas appeal is.
