No, we just need more posters here, period. The Pic Posts prior to this had DOZENS of posters and contributors, yet this one (like most of the other Forum Games) seems to only be supported by a handful of individuals. Whether this be out of fear of punishment (Havn't forgetten yet, kryo), or just plain lack of attendance, it still saddenning to know the forums are dying.
This thread has three pages of similar type pictures which just aren't funny. They have no appeal to
Fuzzy Logic
Looks interesting [e digicons][/e]
Look at the evidence: 1) Doesn't know how to reverse 2) Can only do one thing at a time 3) Easily confused 4) Never does what you want it to Definitely female ;)
It might be me, but the AI difficulty level 'cruel' is pretty lame. The AI colonised 4 worlds (50 for the map) and built one cap...
you dont have to restart a game to get a new Skybox, just pause the game, go into the effects tab and deselect/reselect the coloured skybox option, each time you do that the colour changes and you can choose which one you want just by cycling. just make sure you are zoomed in far enough to see the skybox.
That is so simple, why didn't I find that - gargggghhh!! Thanks for the tip.
Also as I mentioned in another post we're looking at the capital ship balance atm as currently they are slightly too powerful late game for the AI to really tackle well.
The main problem is the AI doesn't produce enough caps. I wish there was a way to change that [e digicons]:'([/e] I'd like to see the economy eased off a bit. By mid game on a large map I usually have enough resources to buy a fleet 20 times over.
It would be nice if someone could get the AI to build 32 caps instead of 3, that would make things interesting.
I still use PSP7 as my main tool. X2 has been disappointing, I only use it to create HDR photos.
I've noticed when you have researched hull points, new free extractors start at 2500 and build up to your researched hull points, whereas new purchased extractors are at full strength when built. Is this by design, or is it a bug?
I'm very impressed at the speed with which you have to mod out for Diplomacy [e digicons][/e] [e digicons]:fuzzy:[/e]
I think diplomacy would have been more use early game when you are struggling for cash and allies would be useful. Late game I have such a huge income that diplomacy is irrelevant.
A very satisfying feeling ;)
