Made some changes. Updated the main post. Sorry about the video being squished, I made it at 2 AM and was too lazy to redo it

I havent's seen Spinal Tap in years but I do remember some of the funny bits were the parts where the guy couldn't get out of the egg and when the drummer spontaneously combusted.
Hehehe gonna turn out like Starcraft RPGs? Thats fun :D
Well AP CS is next year, second semister (hopefully full year [e digicons]X([/e] DON'T DENY ME THE FULL THING!!! The reasoning btw is that before it was AP CS AB, and now its just A. But the class starts in very late January and the AP test is in early May so people with no prior coding experience will fail), so if I need help I'll post next year around April or May lol. And since I really only know applets so the source code for that dungeon game is probably too complex for me at this poin
They were poker and a dungeon crawler (rip-off of moria?) respectivly.
A dungeon crawler in Java? How long was the game? I made this in about a week / week and a half even though we had a lot longer to work the projects (Counter Strike 1.6 over the school network ftw!). Everyone else in the class was pretty stupid and this was the second best project. A dungeon crawler would actually be a really good idea for next year's final (AP C
Maybe we'll see the karma system implemented into this?
Coded in Java. I call it Earth Defender: 3568 but I clearly tried to rip off Space Invaders. The game isn't really done yet, but I used it for my Java class final and I think I got an A+ on it. Maybe I'll get a job making games at Stardock after college [e digicons];P[/e] <param name="al
Well whatever I'm not mad but I will point out something in your latest rebuttle :P
Which means it manages the downloads, making it a "Download Manager". Is there a box retail of Entrenchment? I thought they went digital only, eliminating the option as well as the loophole.
Ironclad plans to release an expansion at retail consisting of the miniexpansions, once all 3 of the "miniexpansions" are out. I guess it's just taking longer t
Dr Gonzo, just give up already . It's you vs the home team in the home team's court. You're also a borderline troll. Plus all of your arguments are invalid, especially the one you just made with the Gamer's Bill of Rights. Impulse/Stardock don't violate that Bill, and never will. Some of those would be broken by steam but not by Impulse. If anything, Stardock has really taken the Bill to heart even though we haven't really heard about it
Spending money on ArmA 2 then saving for awhile... and I don't think it will be on impulse :(
When he says upgrade he means go out and buy a newer card, take out your old one and replace it with the new one. That might be a little too complex for you (no offense) and since that card is so old, you might be better off buying a cheap computer that can play sins. Fact of the matter is, if your PC is really old, then those old parts won't be compatable with new parts :| So you have to ether buy a new card and install it or get a new computer. Or deal with the one yo
Updates are not free-- you paid up front.
You can look at it either way. Although a company doesn't have to provide patches... and they don't have to be free.
A lot of companies that have "invasive" DRM that people boo-hoo about still allow people to patch the program without checking to see if you're a legitimate user from a central authority. End of story.
So wait what? When did the issue shift from DRM to "Giv
Sup com 2, ME 2, and ArmA 2 (sadly I'll be in Ireland when Arma 2 comes out next week)
But the question is, how would you get a patch if not through the internet?
His point (from other posts he's made) is that games should be this "buggy" to begin with, but yes what he's saying is still pretty... stupid. And I don't really think that he's used to "modern" coding/game making. General rule for basic coding: for every bug you find there's 3 more.
I am all for protecting copyrights.. I code myself. I am NOT for limiting MY ability to control what I purchase. If some of you would stop and think for a moment you would realize that if this trend continues, at some point you will no longer have ANY control over what you can and cannot do on your own dam machine. You will be FORCED and required to have internet connections or worse just to use the dam thing. And what you are not understanding is that some of us do NOT want to
i have soulstorm, i always wanted to get star wars and rise of nations/legends
Soulstorm suck tbh. The races were pointless and the Dark Eldar hover things sounded like Howard Dean when they jumped
Getting there.....the Toy now has Impulse and SDC installed.....
Wait what? Stardock central? Ithought that died quite awhile ago...
Lol I looked at the three parts you ordered and was gonna get angry at you for not upgrading that card,,, good thing I kept reading. But ew AMD processor :(
I hope that map that was in the video isn't the normal map. I LOVED the country side style open world maps of supcom 1 but that urban thing would be a nice change, but not a permanint one
noooo!!!!! ITS JUST Re-SKINNED DEMIGOD WAHHHH!!!
...No? You still build and have direct control over units, its just units are more upgradable. I still hope they have maps like in Supcom 1. People complained all the maps were very similar in that they were all country sides but I don't wand a game thats all urban stuff
If I wanted a game that looked like this I'd go back to WoW... KOTOR had more detail and polys than that does.
It will never come out on steam. Period. Get over it if you want the game. Steam is valve's DD platform and Impulse is Stardock's. They won't comingle their games to the other system (ie Half life will never be on impulse). Or you can go to a store and get it. As for choosing your DD platform, thats what Stardock's new GOO DRM system is all about :) In my opinion, steam has a better community system and store selection than Impulse (I'm just not a
Agreed hope the game is as good as the video (being BioWare that is an excellent chance)
But its an MMO. We're going to have to wait until release to see if it truly is good or not. The trailer is certainly epic and gives me high hopes but I have this bad feeling they will be crushed.
I'm sort of angry at apple right now anyways... stupid Ipod apps. Either they publish it or you don't get it (or you jailbreak / potentially break your ipod)
