Windows XP 512 MB RAM 2.4 GHz Proccesor Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 Ok, here are my two issues with SINS: The game is extemely slow at the beggining of the game. It does (but not often) crash in the beggining, I think it is because of that zoom in "movie" at the beggining. Does anyone know how to disable that? Sometimes the game will crash and a little popup thingy will come up from the area where the clock is and say "Not enought virtual memory, trying to get m

I can see where you are coming from (I don't really like rushing in RTS games, thats why I like EaW). Technically, you can expand as slowly as you want, but your enemy may not let you servive long. If you really wanna know what its like, a user called Multianna has 6 gameplay videos. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?forumid=402&aid=148534#1193612

"The Manta measures 630mm/25 inches long and has a wingspan of 860mm/34 inches! Weighing in at 12.5 kilos/28 pounds," It's from 40k, it's a tau manta. And it's only 895 pounds !!! Here is the link to the model: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/TAU_AIRCRAFT.html

have it in August It got pushed back to February '08 (the estimate for right now...). (with the possibility of decreasing the number of apparent launch bays on the carrier). I don't know how many launch bays it has and I have the beta, but it can only carry two squadrons (I think it should carry more than 2.)

The 3-D placement of buildings could also add more stradegy (and more room to build!)

The only problem with your bowl formation, Thrawn, is that it just makes it easier to pick away at the ships on the edges. or... just go around! To Stratteggi: I said the point of this formation was to protect the flag (although they don't play that big of a role in the game. They should though.). To Schem: The bowl could expand, ships could break off to engage the "going around" ships, and going around

I have noticed that there are completely USLESS planets (actually, the bigger asteriods that you can colonize). What I mean by that is that they have no "resource" asteriods around them (metal or crystal) and they provide 0.00 income a second. Sometime I think about whether or not I should bother colonizing this...this... thing . Maybe (if possible) the devs should prevent the game from creating these monstrosities. One thing that disturbes me in this game is that if m

Personally, one of the things I think this game is missing is fleet formations . One such formation (a formation to protect your flag) could be like a bowl, with your flag in the middle. Any enemy ship that dared to go into the bowl to attack the flag would be in range of all the other ships and would sustain damage quickly. Here is my (bad) drawing of what I mean. This could add another

No, I dont wanna quit!!!! Thats just the way I am (I play a game for awhile and then I dont play it for a month or two.). Infact, I'm gonna go play SINS now. Hey, when did they push back Beta 2 to June? I seem to remember that last time I was here it was set for May....(and will both the Advent and the Vasari be add or just one?)

I think the AI should be capable of backstabbing but this: Shortly thereafter it broke alliance, but I already had fleets set up around its planets. Should never happen, it should be able ascertain whether or not its gonna gets its ass kicked up and down the galaxy if it breaks the alliance or not. It's odd, sometimes they will break the treaty even though I'm "top dog" (but thats sometimes the reason why they say no to a

I'm just saying it happens too often, most of the time I can only get the AI to ally with me longer than it takes them to phase jump is if we're allied from the start and teams are locked. I thought about backstabbing in mulitplayer and I have a truly EVIL plan for that.... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-HA !

One of the reasons why I left the fourms for while (a month or two... I stopped playing so I stopped going on the fourms) was because of the AI's issues with allegiances. EVERY, yes EVERY , time I had an alliance with the AI (only one of the two I was playing with wished to have one, whether I asked for peace or he/she/it did) would imediatley send a large force to one of my systems and then break the truce!?!?! Whats the point of peace if it lasts as long as a phase jump!?!?!?! I understa

When did this start, did you recently get the 8800? Because you've been on the fourms for awhile...

Sorry I've been gone for so long... truth be told, I kinda got bored with SINS (that happens with me, I play a game for a month or two and then I don't play it for a month or two). I think the reasons I got bored is because its just the TEC (beta, its not anyones fault, I know), trading still confused me, it got kinda repetitive, and NO SUPER WEAPONS !!!!! Look at the two most (new) popular RTSs that

I got two cold days I while back.. beat that Last year (I think) our superindendant was from Texas (I'm in NEW HAMPSHIRE! w00t waky weather!) and it rained. We got a snow day from that and we also got a cold day this year. This year we have a new superindendant because the one from Texas would spend the district's money to go back to Texas and treat her friends to dinner. I think she got another superindendant job somewhere else <img src="http://im

w00t! Today we got a snow day (in April, I know its wierd)! And the teachers have been picketing to get a contract before school...and tomorrow is GOOD FRIDAY so they can request the day off and the district can't say no. 240 teachers requested the day off so we don't have school today or tomorrow, then its the weekend!
