lol varied strategies yea, spamming lrms is a varied strategy.
What's the point of requiring more authentication checks after it's been installed? This method has been cracked before..
"EA teach sipert, no english pease."
You can win without microing your fleets, so not much thinking is required. The thinking in this game (larger maps) are more about long-term goals (controlling a certain point) rather than short term goals (taking out his capital ship)
Aaaaaand here comes ignorance about foreign countries!
Could be really interesting!
People want to play a fast-paced game. So they play smaller maps. Smaller maps cause less strategies, and people start using the cheapest ones (spamming lrms, rushing, ect) I wish sins was made for an even slower paced game, aka: single player. =/
5 minutes to make a post, and 3 months for the forum to quite down when a feature that was listed in the topic doesn't make the patch.
Bump, we had a little discussion going here for 1 or 2 seconds.
*cough summer/finals week cough* I might try playing online again soon. Are there any good clans that are known for slower-paced long games? Being able to look away for 5 seconds and not be attacked can be nice sometimes..
They're probably waiting for 1.0 to release the tools. This game is alot more moddable than other rtss. =/ The names for the variables in the ent files are easy to read and understand. Sure, it isn't perfect. But maybe they'll release more content later on for modding. The mod tools might even let you create custom AI.
While Developers will eventually win (with enough time and money) pirates will have a upper hand in that. It takes alot of money to create a effective protection, but people crack it for free. Some would pay money to try to crack it.
Alot of girls (who hang out with more guys than girls) have played some game before and enjoy playing it. Most common would have to be guitar hero.
Comparing piracy to stealing a physical item is a horrible comparasion. Piracy is more like finding something you need (headphones, a tool, ect) on the ground, but wouldn't pay for in a store. Basically, most people who pirate things would never have bought them. Most people I know pirate music. Do they go screaming down the halls "YOUR HURTING THE ARTISTS!!"? There's 2 types of arguments for piracy on the Internet. Piracy is good and the current bus
You insulted his religious views.
Most people are probably playing offline now rather than online. I tried online for 2-3 days. Won half my matches, but it just felt too competive. Offline you can experiment and have fun (however, I wish the enemy made a harder defense) Back in the beta I used to play online all the time, and the matches lasted for hours (average lasted 3 hours!) But keep in mind the weather has been very nice lately, so people are going outside more. It's also finals week!
EA enjoys hype sales. Lots of sales at the beginning, than fewer and fewer sales after the release date.
I haven't had any minidumps, excluding the time when I was modding some of the files. =/
EDIT (grrr, button dissapeared!): I think it's when a tiger(?) gives you a medal or something.
Those were great games. Btw; I can't remember if I was playing the Amazon Trail Demo or something, but does that game end rather suddenly?
Well, America is imperialistic. (than again, we haven't spread our flag to any major countries for a long, long time)
You are adama.
That's really good if it's your first try.
