I know how to "avoid" the problem by taking out alphablending completely from the menu background image. As far as I know, the only way to have alphablending in the image is to save the image as png... and SKS imports it as TGA. I specified in SKS that the background image has alpha/transparency in it. No different than all the other images I use with this effect. Again, this problem doesnt happen for the popup menus... ONLY "places list (right)". Both popup menus and "place

This problem does not happen for pop-up menus using the same transparent background. I'm not sure if I have Vista-ize active or not. Changing transparency options for menus in WB does not fix the problem. How can I get around this problem? I really want to keep my transparent popup menus; and have transparent "Places list (right)" as well.
Do you have vista-ize me active in WBconfig?(or menus set to transparent)
How to cleanly remove all traces of Windows Blinds 6 (both in registry and filesystem) after uninstall and rebooting. I didnt have a Windows restore point set before installing WB6. Although, I can run an uninstall of this program on my machine; I'm pretty anal about leaving traces of it in my registry and file system. Could someone please tell easiest and most effective way to remove every single trace? Thanks, Michael

Okay, from what I understand, this problem exists due to providing compatibility for XP. I still consider it a bug. I dont think having an icon protrude the way it does is excepted or desirable behavior; at least not for someone who expects standard MS Windows Vista UI functionality. Having to explicitly define a setting like this in the skin design is not an acceptable solution; since that would require all skin designers to change this setting for someone who uses large icons. <
