Fraid I'm going to have to take about a week off from modelling, something big has come up and pretty much anything social has been locked away for now :P If you see any new buildings from me in the meantime then just consider it a fluke.
Let me rephrase that, rather what could I add to it to make it look more like a temple? Besides making the Emperor's pointy stick a little more subtle.

A Craftworld could be the Eldar supership, they carry a pretty horrific amount of firepower but can take less hits than other supers and should have massive drawbacks if it's lost, cus you just took a good percentage of the Eldar population with you. As for the Necrons there's the Nightbringer's Flagship for lack of a better name, which we'd have to pretty much make up as there's only about 5 lines about it. But one of those was "Dwarfs an Ork Hulk" so it should be strong enough. <b
Finally had an idea for the buildings, so here's a chaos temple/factory thing, although it requires a bit of visualization. Imagine a big bolt of lightning running from the "horned crystal" to the top of the station, and then slightly above the crystal a huge warp rift. This will likey be done with FX though. Ya, I had to make it up since there's no real builder ships in BFG, and summoning instead of building seemed like the best method for Chaos.

Did you link the dummies to the model? Select all the dummies, then click the [img]http://xs226.xs.to/xs226/08176/icon294.png[/img] button and drag from the dummies to the mesh. Mesh should blink if done correctly.
Nice, those Tau sizes will be very useful, and also hindering as I now have to resist the urge to model them until I get Chaos done. ;p You and Thrawn will both be getting a copy of the Alpha once we get those precious full mod tools.
Idolator's finished, one weird ship with its antennae and skyscraper for a bridge. What's even weirder than that is the fact I didn't go over the poly count. edit: Whoops, reason it wasn't over the poly count was because I forgot the large fin underneath. They're going to have one huge mothership with as many beam weapons I can fit on, just the coding stuff really left to do until next release. I'm trying to see if I can maybe make it so the mothership build all the frigate saucers, partially so you get the swarm of saucers feel and partially so I don't have to model additional buildings. Personally I'd love to try and do some nids *flagellates self*, but model-wise the problem stems from the fact they have no pre-fixed weapons, meaning there's about 6 different configs for just their smallest ships. We could always resort to "standardizing" them though, by hacking off all 500 of their special rules.

Finished Planet Killer, devising FX for that Armageddon Gun will be fun :p You can't really see the underside from this angle though so I'll get another shot by tomorrow. Also pics of those cruiser and escorts would be helpful thrawn, I skimped detail on the cruiser rear and still have little idea as to what basic Tau ships look like. Just a stab in the dark, but have you re-referenced the .dds files in the texture? Just do it the same way you'd apply a new texture.

Sure, you can add it to 7 Sins once I get them playable without mini dumping every click ;p It might even be easier to make it a playable race than make pirates use it from all the errors I've come across.
