The funny thing is, this topic was intended to be sarcastic, yet people took it seriously and made it an actual topic to vent their frustrations.
The way NOT to get something changed is for someone to make multiple posts with titles like "1.03 SUX" or whatever full of "the game is just crap now, I'm uninstalling it, I had high hopes but it's now crap". I'm sorry but I'm not taking some guy's "word for it".
I wish you guys would start locking topics more often, and I hate saying that. I know you guys try to be liberal about criticism, but some of these topics are getting ridiculous. One topic has people complainin
after December 7 1941 surprise attack left much of the fleet at the bottom of Pearl habor, we had no choice but to be smarter with what was left of our navy against nearly full strength navy.
Say what? Not to turn this into a World War 2 discussion, but the destruction of the destroyers really didn't have as much impact as one would assume. Many consider the carriers and submarines that were spared as having been more crucial to the allied victory.

So the enemy had more resources, and he managed to out produce and defeat you...And this is ridiculous how?
Which AI are you talking about? out of the AIs attacking, the orange one is the furthest away and it's still only 3 jumps away. .
Who knows with these topics...

Yeah IC, you've completely ruined the game, and we, the fans, hate you for that......YEAH!! You need to emulate starcraft and DoW!! They were balanced when they were released! never mind the gazillion patches released for both, and the complaining by the fans that each patch made the game more unbalanced (deja vu!?). For shame....
I'm not here 24/7 so feel free to point it out if I missed anything but the only comment I saw on the subject from anyone in-the-know was that their gameplay data suggested that siege frigates were getting a lot of use. There wasn't much elaboration on that point so I'm still wondering 'when' these things were getting heavy use as a main offense.
Neither am I, but I'll oblige you.
Oh, the new players air plenty of their own grievances too. Look at the gripes about siege frigates before this patch. Most experienced players have no trouble fending them off and hardly ever build them beyond late game mop-up but there were still plenty of people willing to contend that they were nigh invincible en-masse because they weren't expecting to see them used the way the AI used them
Funny, but that group of people complaining included the developers.

You have a replay showing this in action? I'd love to see this in effect, particularly against an experienced player.

Where were you guys during the beta? A day and half, and already the patch has made the game unbalanced.....Seems people cry "unbalanced!" whenever a patch is released, particularly during the initial stages. Interesting phenomena. No offense to the disgruntled people, just my observations.
Advent are way too good for TEC in my experience. That colonizer ship is insane it pays for itself if you colonize 3 or 4 planets with it.Then on top of that it has the shield regenerator that makes it tough to kill early on with a small fleet. Then there ships are so cheap off hte start and way too good for the money the TEC ships are barely better and cost too much more.
Hmmmmm......Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the point?
It amuses me that people are arguing with this guy. Assuming for the moment he isn't just a troll, taste is subjective. He doesn't like the game - so what? How does that affect anyone else? His hilarious grandstanding 'WOW IN PUBLIC I DON'T LIKE IT I WILL TOTALLY SELL IT SEE HOW MUCH I HATE IT' stuff is great comedy to post on the official forums, and I congratulate him for stirring up so much noise.I think Army of Poo sucks too. Anyone care? No? Of course not. Nor should you.I ca

I like this quote: "Reservations? The main one is the complete absence of a campaign mode - despite the ripe background material inherent in the game world, it's not actually presented to you in a string of scenarios. This isn't a problem for me, personally, but others will want a structured way into the game's intricacies. As it is, the extra effort Ironclad has put into the skirmish mode, including the random maps, makes it clear that its peers are more the Civilizations and GalCivs

How can a linear campaign, that has the chance of being weakly designed and beaten in less than a week, make the game considerably better?\ Anyway: http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=93758 Eurogamer 9/10

There is little strategy involved when all you do is battle the a.i.? You tried multiplayer?
Well, I'm sure to be called a troll, but what the hell, I've played enough of this game to say that I've played this game before, back when it was called Homeworld. It was good then in fact I still own it, but now i've bought it again. It is the same game, just a retread, and a few added missions, and if there are any updates, those are to run on new systems. Good thing I didn't spend $50 or I'd be pissed. Well now it seems that the game industry is going through the same problems that t
Griefers are like that (and no, I didn't look at the reviews).
I try to ignore them, but they're one of the first things that pop up when you access Sins GS page. You'll see a user review that gives the game 3.0 for not having a campaign, or not playing HW.
