Titan Quest's DRM was a simple disc check if I remember the game correctly, if you want to stuff people up don't name your variables for what they are used for an example instead of naming ID3DDevice9 Device name it ID3DDevice9 _______. Underscores do work as a variable name I wrote a basic particle system using variable names only as underscores it was a pain to debug but it worked in the end.

The Article covers some good valid points, Funny about that comment about games with no DRM still scoring high number of downloads. I went for a look on the major torrent sites I found barely any torrents for SoaSE a few galactic civ II with meager number of seeds and leaches. Stardock does pretty well compared to the DRM favoring publishers. I am an aspiring game programmer, one idea myself and a few people I study with came up with a possible solution to reduce piracy is to ha
Mass Effect follows the Bioware formula to the letter, its not a bad thing but they could at least mix it up. I bought the PC version the graphics are pretty average most stuff past 30 feet from your character turns into a pixelated mess even with settings at max. There are a few bugs which haven't been fixed ie proper AMD processor support I am still getting lower performance compared to a similar intel processor. Complaints aside the main story is fairly good, t

Just because your complaining is validated doesn't invalidate the complaints of someone else.<b
I do love both HW and HW2 but on a side note hee hee... THQ didnt deny the Homeworld 3 Rumor.... IF they make it dont screw it up... waiting though for more info to rise though probably 2009 they announce it.
THQ own Relic, if Homeworld 3 gets made it will be done by Relic. To be honest I don't see homeworld 3 going to be made any time soon.
I don't agree in needing a license to have children, just more stringent laws and social agencies that actually do their damn job. It leads to more questions on who has the right to decide who is fit, who is not, how should someone raise their own children. I have seen debates on this topic across a few forums the final result is no one really cares that some guy named his child after a dictator and the bakery or what ever it is should have made the cake.
Is there a similar tool to import models from Maya
SDKs are usually the first thing that is created once the game engine, SDKs are a rare thing now days with so many companies screwing over the modding community thinking that their game is going to last more than 6 months.
So much for the game being "freely and easily moddable" and how "users can easily create their own content" to make up for a lack of a campaign. More lies from Stardock and Ironclad. Whoever markets this game and its features and is either completely full of shit or has no idea what he's talking about.Anyway... complaints about Stardock aside, I think a lot of us would like to see some screen shots if you guys have the time. You know, just to give us a star wars fix . Good luck getting t
game gets boring after 2 weeks of playing. dunno how people can play it more than 2 weeks.
It sounds like you are one of those people who need constant self satisfaction every time and when you don't get that enough you whine like an friggin emo who got rejected. I might be wrong with the last part, Sl4vik you must really played for a while damn I bet the number of games you played is under 10 and for some reason you strike me a console fanboi. I bet both you would whin
Gez you people are a bunch of carebears, though the fleets caps should be more expensive past some level its too easy to build massive fleets and the PJI needs a rework I disagree with this guy, but at least he understands what I'm talking about. Gez you people are a bunch of carebears, though the fleets caps should be more expensive past some level its too easy to build massive fleets and the PJI needs a rework. Siege frigates are ok their job is to destroy colonies whats with the whine leave a couple of ships or stationary defences to defend each colony it might drain your resources a takes a while to change your strats to accommodate this defence tactic. I have been playing when ever I can siege frigates are easy kil
I wouldn't mind better camera control and more random pirate fleets compositions
We've heard the publisher will be Auran. And as I said, there are other products on EB Aus that come out in May, June, etc. But psugar resolved it
Auran might be circling the drain financially after the failure of their last game Fury.
Gez I wonder what people thought about STALKER when it came out and many other popular buggy games, time for the class action suit.
I read that but I kept see that quote popping up but I was also saying something not reflecting on Ironclad that Australia is disciminated by the gamming industry look at THQ's actions on steam, Sierra/Vivendi did some shifty work during tribes 2 world comp against the Australian and New Zealand teams so it would be an all US final.
In the meantime Oceanic gamers will be giving this game an accurate review on gaming web-sites (e.g. gamespot.au). Can't see EB Games Australia being too thrilled to sell it when they'll get returns from people who find out the multiplayer doesn't work outside of Oz!
I find it hard that Ironclad would leave a bug such as this when the game gets released in Oz, even if it is there should already be a patch(es) by then. I should have picked up on this commen
EFT, electronic fund transfers is what I meant, the one I really hated doing are SWIFTs forgot what it stands, when it goes through its great but when it doesn't your screwed if the money doesn't surface.
I used to work for one of the largest banks in Australia, doing EFTs SWIFTs and other transactions, I used to have to deal with people who get these problems, its not pleasant having an angry customer on the phone. I am sure the game is excellent but the pre-order and electronic funds system used isn't I still intend to get boxed ed of the game from stardock. The independant transaction is canned I am not sure about the first one since but even if it was my account will still be locked for ano
Kyro can I make a rather aggressive suggestion OVERHAUL your friggin system. In my case what was the point in pre-ordering the CE paid the money then waited and got a payment failure emails with a weak excuses "couldn't use the first transaction" and "had to do a separate transaction" now my bank account is now locked till next week since i didn't authorise the second tranaction. Before people start wondering why i have to personally auth no signature transaction is because I had my wallet stol
if you pre-order with old postage price they created another transaction for the newer price.
australia doesn't get Sins till April publisher i am guess will be red ant or CDV so there will be very little adds for it.
I have, and its considered bad practise in the banking world to actual have the first auth done and a second auth attempted due to a rescale to other factors. When I was working I had to answer customer and business queries most business aren't aware that creating a second auth and it fails while holding or taking the first auth as well creates liability issues.
