problemo... I cant seem to get gal forge to work with the DS gal forge stuff inserted. I copy the icons and galdef stuff into the gal forge 3 folder, but when i then try to use the exe it crashes before it starts. What am i doing wrong? Also i cant seem to get the updated mod to work either...

the mod is great, but i am getting frequent crashes about every 30 min. Cant seem to find a common thread between them. Is this just it ALPHA-ness acting up. just curiouse, but how far along are you guys on a rebellion version of distant stars. I figure you wont release it during beta, since it would be a pain in the butt to update it every time they change the beta, but have you already started work on it? Not trying to be annoying, but this is my favorite sins mod, and im getting bored with the 4 planet types, oversimplified research and improved, but still not as good as yours weapon effects.
I know they have some problems that need balancing, but i like them for filling out a fleet
That was a really poorly executed review. In some places, it seemed like the guy just watched videos online and never actually played the game himself. He makes quite a few somewhat inaccurate statements. Did anyone else see this?

Generaly i always micro my titans. I have tested it several times where i will press leach, and see it effect a ship, imidiatly hit the grav field button and looked that that ship to see if it was effected. No dice every time. Does it not list the effect on the ship while its working? Ive tried this on ships leaving the grav well (this is why i want it to work anyway) and it seems to have no effect. So is this just me post beta 3 release?
Im still a fan of the idea of making it activate when the ship is close to death (like at 15% hull Points) but instead not die at the end but just be at that same hull points total and have all pasive regeneration disabled for some period of time. This way when facing it you have two choices. Either take its punishment so you are there tomake the kill when it ends it tantrum, or run to preserve your ships which gives it a chance to get away. I think it would have to be nerfed a little to bala
While i dont think the Vasari rebels are entirly overpowered, the mobile starbase puts them way over the top. I like the mechanic a lot, but i think Orkys, that jump need to be weakened by somthing like 40% when in an enemy gravity well. That would posibly fix the issue. As for the Vas loyals, they dont start out all that strong, but thier end game is frekin rediculous! (read: really powerfull and really awesome and posibly a little op...BUT DONT CHANGE THEM! :-p )

Im not sure if this is a known bug or not, but the VRT's gravity feild ability says that if a ship is effected by leach at the time you affect it with the gravity field power, it is suposed to disable a whole lot of stuff. I have tried repeatedly to get this mechanic to work, but it will not. Is this a known issue? It seems like that ability does nothing currently, its hard to tell, but i know its leach based secondary effects are not working. Love the ship otherwise

I feel like kind of an idiot, but for the lif of me i can figure out how to consume a planet. Where is the button to trigger it. Ive done the necesary research. Help

I dont think its a natural event, because why would they hint at portions of the TEC and Advent teaming up with the Vasari rebels to stop whatever it is. If it was a black hole or natural even, teaming up would do them no good
