Thanks. How do you get an ally? Do you have to give money gifts? Is there another way of getting allies without giving money away? Once you get the ally, what do you have to do to keep the ally.

I see many different threads all over the forum by guys saying " How do I beat " So I am hoping all those how do I beat question can be contain here in one thread. I'll start off. When fighting a TEC LRMs spam how do I beat it when I am playing. Vasari - Advent - TEC -
Have you tried to become an ally of the computer AI? How do you do that. And how did it work out for you when the AI was your "friend".
There is another thread just like this called "Favorite Advent ship combo's ?"
This is a great thread. Are there race specific tactics? For example, when fighting the TEC with the nasty LRMs you do what. Or when fighting the Vasari late in the game, what tactics do you use.
Do you all have favorite empire techs? How about build orders.
( I hope that this thread becomes the central Vasari knowledge thread ) So are you a Vasari player? Do you have tips that you are willing to share? What build orders do you use. What ships or combination of ships do you like. What tech do you research? Any help greatly appreciated. Regards
I think this is what happened. I had one harmony lab running. Then I started my research. While I was researched my 1 tech level harmony tech I built another harmony lab. At that point the research stopped because I had 2 harmony labs instead of one.
Thanks guys. This helps. How do you prevent the ships from autocasting? Is there a menu option I have to click on?
I did not put this in the technical problem forum because I think that I might be doing something wrong. I was playing the Advent. I was going up the tech tree to reach Arctic Evangelism when the research stopped. It seemed to have stopped at 15% research finished. What could be wrong. Why would the research job stop and refuse to continue.
I have read several post about the Advent. They say similar "Use this ship with the other ship and watch the magic. Below is an example. "Animosity (Radiance battleship) to make a bunch of things attack it, and then Vengeance from the Rapture (to make all attacking ships take damage in return). Works even better when coupled with the Mothership's shield recharge, and if the Radiance has a rank or two in its passive ability that grants it armor and converts damage to antimatter
Great thread. In this thread and others I see people stuff like the following: "Animosity (Radiance battleship) to make a bunch of things attack it, and then Vengeance from the Rapture (to make all attacking ships take damage in return). Works even better when coupled with the Mothership's shield recharge, and if the Radiance has a rank or two in its passive ability that grants it armor and converts damage to antimatter, to keep feeding Animosity. " The guy above mentions how t
What combinations of ships and tech upgrade do you use to win the day as an Advent player.
Guys. Thanks. This is a great start.
Thanks for the economic advice. What ships and combination of ships make for a good TEC fleet.
So after reading many posts I see that the Vasari are the kings of the late game. They are also lords of large maps. So who owns the early rounds. Is there a master of the middle game? Complete my little survey below Vasari kings of : late game, large maps, military conquest. TEC kings of : Advent kings of :
Budding TEC player here. For all you TEC fans. Have any helpful hints and strategy that you are willing to share. Build orders, favored ships, so that makes you a darn good TEC player. Regards
Is there a guide on the Net on how to play Sins? The tutorial is helpful in teaching the mechanics of gameplay, but, it does not give hints. When I play, I feel a bit lost. I really don’t know which tech to research or what to do next. Is anyone in this forum aware of a getting started thread, web page etc . . . that shows what to do besides "how to press buttons" on the game.
The science sucks in this game. In the universe star systems tend to be heliocentric ( with the exception of binary and trinary star systems). Take for example our own star system. You have the Sun in the middle with several satellite planets in orbit around the Sun. Masters of Orion 2 did just that. It had many star system that were heliocentric. Speaking of our own star systems. TEC = human yes? Where is Earth, Mars, Saturn??? When I played my first game, I thought to myself,
