If we went to war with China we would not need to use a single ground troop, that is if we didnt want to. We could force the government to simply surrender by wiping out it military capacity and civil infulstructure using conventional bombs and missiles. If we wanted to change the government we might need send in troops, if they refused to sign a treaty that forced a new government.

Any culture capable of faster than light travel will have very powerful computers as well as incredible robotics. They dont need slave labor. People require space to live and lots food. Thye also tend to be rebellious. Machines have none of these unwanted qualities.

An energy sword's core is not metal. Its all plasma like a lightsaber. Also I doubt a Jedi could stand much of a chance against an smg or assault rifle because of how fast it fires and the size of the spray.

Yes the story is very deep when you get into the books and other sources. Still not as deep as Star Wars mind you. I dont like the way things are layed out as far as they have extended the time line. Luke the most powerful Jedi ever ends up being exiled into obscurity? I just dont like it.
When the flood reach a high enough biomass a Gravemind is created. It is the hive mind for the Flood. The Gravemind is faster at calculations than any of the forerunners AIs, that is untill they created the contender class AI. The contender claas AI is similar to the Gravemind, because they both have compound minds. Mendicant Bias was the first and the gravemind was able to turn it against the forerunners when he convinced mendicant that Intelligences like themselves are the future of evoluti

Actually a MAC round has effectively limitless range in a vacuum. The only limit is the ability to calculate the range, which is more than simple for a smart A.I. The forerunners used dreadnaughts that are 37654 tonnes. The Key ships, which they possessed entire fleets of are 14 kilometers high making them comparable to an SSD. The weapons are of unknown power but in all likely hood it could destroy an SSD very quickly as the covenant could only tap into 10% of its total power, which

The Jewish view of the Messiah since the time of the Prophets has been that he would bring all the Jews back to Israel, bring about world peace, and rebuild the Temple. Sorry but your wrong... Evolution is a fact. It has been proven by DNA and by the fossil record. Evolution takes millions of years in most cases. But it is still visible and very apperent when you look at bacteria. Bacteria have been evolving, infact it has many people worried. Antibiotics kill most bacteria but the ones that survive pass on resistance to the next generation. Our attempts to destroy bacteria has shaped its evolution in a very direct way. This is natural selection because the

I think to be a fair fight we should compare forerunners to Star Wars races. That way we have comparable ship size and technological capabilities. The Forerunners could cause stars to collapse and it became a standard protocol for flood containment. They became world builders able to construct things on a massive scale such as the shield worlds and the ark. Their understanding of Genetics has no mach. They also had armor that ranked in at class 18 maybe higher ( Master Chief's armor is c
