Awesome work, I really enjoyed this showcase release. I have the following feedback: - Planet gravity radius is slightly too large, making it awkward to get a good overview of a battle. When zooming out it is impossible to see more then two third of the gravity well before getting booted to the galaxy map. - When Ships are being build the lightning is excellent, giving the ships a perfect grey'ish appearance. However when finished, the ships seems over-lighted somehow.<br/

Perhaps you can make the galaxy a bit like they did in starWars rebellion/Supremacy. So clusters of planets, linked together with 2 or 3 other clusters of planets by 2/3 jumplanes. It might not be the most accurate representation of the SW galaxy, but it was an effective and user-friendly way.
Ah good to know, I'll look into it. Thanks.
Right, its working now :)
I found that somehow the mod had been corrupted (probably when zipping it), it will probably give you an error if you try to run it in the game. I'm updating the download link, it should work fine in a moment. Apologies for the inconvenience. Mod instructions: Unrar the folder, then place it within your Sins of a Solar Empire mods folder (Vista users go: username> appData> Local > Ironclad Games > Sins of a Solar Empire > Mods )
how do you make the a with 2 dots over it?
This mod attempts to make capital ships more interesting. While in the original game capital ships are fairly mediocre, and relatively easily destroyed, in this mod capital ships are completely rebalanced to be true centerpieces of you fleet. But that is not all, basically every ship has been adjusted to better fit this new concept, in addition to slight visual changes. v.1.0 Capital Ship changes: -
As the title says, I'm currently busy with a mod to rebalance all fleets, and creating more diversity between the different capital ships. However, I cannot figure out how to adjust the starting conditions. At the moment the first capital ship can be build for free, which prevents me from creating more and less powerful capital ships, as the expensive ones would be a no brainer to build. How can I adjust which ships are buildable for free?
