Great Job Man! :CONGRAT: I like the idea of multiple roles for one ship, but I wouldnt do that with the Fed.'s cause they have plenty of diff. ship designs and classes. But it certainly soubnds like somthing a smaller empire would do like the cardies. As for canon/non-canon ships, well it depends... I have plenty of books and materials that would have placed the Sovie in the dominion war line up, as well as that being implyed in Nemesis and Insurrection that the Enterprize

Awesome, I dont know to much about scripting, I did alot of the weapons and stuff for Ez, but I dont think I know enough to be of any use to the team. I did however do the sound pack for Ez's work, so if you wanted to use any of those it would be totally cool with me. No credit neccessary. As a side note, I hope the Sovereign is one of the three ships for the Fed's in the mini mod ur discussing. After all, its my ship man... =P Good luck with work & the mod....

Hey Ez, Is the Sovereign your making the standard Sovie, or the Nemesis refit? I hope its the Nemesis refit cause its got more weapons and looks a lil' cooler... Well, This may sound a bit weird, but after some small contributions to Ezraeil's work, I have refused to play Sins until the release of the Sovereign Class. I remember watching Star Trek TNG as a kid and always thinking (Galaxy fans please forgive me) that the Enterprise-D was always a bit akward looking, even ugly at some angles.... I agree, I think it would be nice to have more variety & even cooler if their ships were assimilated, However, I do think that the primary focus should be Star Trek ships. Once you have the bulf of peoples favorite Star Trek ships in game, you could add/leave-in anything you wanted and it would enhance the mod. @Ezraeil Your doing a great job here & I havent experienced any mini-dumps prior to this release, so what ever is wrong, went wrong in this latest release. But the Sabre is there & looking fantastic! The idea that the next release could include the Sovereign, makes me giddy to say the least & while I wish you all the best luck on your finals, I [U]will[/U] be glued to the forums waiting for "My Ship" (Sovie) =P As for the borg as pirates, other races & this projects eventual outcome,

@MrMit Its an entity file, not a .dds and its in the GameInfo folder of your enabled mod, the TEC Light Frigate. Make a back-up first, just to be on the safe side, then open the TecFrigateLight.entity file and look at the weapons. Its not easy, but its not hard either. Just poke around, but always make back-up's. On the other hand, you could request that they be given beam weapons in the next update. Good Luck! =P

@MrMit If you want beam phasers instead of pulse, you can change them in the miranda entity file, just look in another ships file that uses beams and see what you need to change in order to fire the beams instead of pulses.
