Nop, I click on the planet and it still jumps out. Besides thats only one side of the problem. It usually masses its fleet a jump away of the target planet/asteroid and waits there for ages before eventually it decides to jump in (just to jump out 15 sec later). We celarly need more control over it, some way to overrun its play pattern, so we would be able to effectevely count it as an ally u can rely on.

Of course its an opinion. But still i believe many people would like to have more control over the AI. In my opinion that should make the loss of a teammate much more bearable, even in early game.
The point is not at what difficulty it is set, but that it badly needs more control from the player/s. Especially on key feautures like attacking, deploying ships, and retreating. These things need to be done with player's permition only, or at least the player to be available to override the AI about that. Otherwise the game just isn't adequate.
It is not exactly from beta experience, but lately, especially in a bigger games (with more than 4 players) people leave or get dropped almost every game. And the AI that takes over the leavers is so, sooo stupid. Very frequent thing to happen is when u command the AI to attack or deffend a planet, it either amass its fleet a jump away but without actually joining the battle, or jumps in the battle and 10 sec later jumps out. Either way u get screwed. Very often happens when u command it to atta
Okay here's my tupense. Why not try and implement some more espionage. What i mean? For instance why dont u include an option to bribe planets heavily affected by enemy culture. Instead of just turning it to a neutral rebel and practically useless planet. There sould be option to bribe the government and buy it out, with the structures associated with it. Instead of destroying it u could dismantle what building u cant use, and gain some resources back. Besides u will keep all the improvement
Since applying it i have minidump every second game i play. So i returned to 1.05. The bad news is that i still have pretty frequent minidumps, much more than before that..
First, sry for double posting that (in a similar thread). I am just gettign excited too (which isnt easy thing because, these days our new house will be finnished and will buy a dog, and in half an year will become daddy:)), and want to know more about that stuff:) So... About Demigod now. All the information mentioned in the press releases and interviews by developers and Stardock seems very promising , BUT one thing that concerns me pretty much. I am talking about that u will ha
Agree on that. DotA is pretty addictive and fast paced game, that despite its fast pace offers surprisingly deep gameplay. When you chance on a well playing, mature enough not to abuse people, it is real plasure to play. About Demigod now. All the information mentioned in the press releases and interviews by developers and Stardock seems very promising , BUT one thing that concerns me pretty much. I am talking about that u will have only 2 types of heroes. That doesn't seem enough to m
Hello there:) Would someone tell me, please, where i could find the Autorecorded multiplayer saved games? Which folder? I don't find saves at all... I would like to send few saved games to friends but have no idea where to find them.. Help me please:) Thanks a lot in advance..
Great news:) Combined with that "unified account and ranking system" sounds pretty nice. I would love to find out more about that how the DoTA game mechanics will be implemented in Demigod.
I know the fish is still in the ocean, but with the dialogue you keep with us (your product buyers) and the fact you listen to the feedback and act quickly to keep up - I just want to congratulate you Ironclad and Stardock! With this customer support and the fact you already have developed an amasing game I think you will keep your community happy and active playing (especially if you somehow implement a ranking system), even in the post Starcraft 2 era:)
I hope someone of the devs's team will respond soon to this topic with answers and maybe statement that things will be/will not be changed, because it feels a bit pathetic to repeat the same thing so many times with no response at all.
Btw, those were some good games tonight man. Sorry about the dunov rush I just had to try it again, it's so retardedly strong.
Lol np:) I had fun there. Besides a counter was on the way:) Had 2 dozens of lrm's which had been clearing colonies and just got the resources for a dunov. So I would have tried to purge one of your dunov's energy and nuke the other one:)
It was getting all personal so I stopped reading from the end of page 2 on. Let me just clarify something first - I play for fun only. Yet I like competitive games and think the only way to improve is to play with someone at your skill level or better. My frist several games with 1.03 today were with Haeso and yet the game feels pretty different than what i got used to and my team /in 4v4 and 3v3/ was clearly less skilled compared to his, they were a heck of a fun games. So I think Haeso is
Somewhere on this site was announced that there will be camapign added with the 1.04 patch. Or at least it is planned so. So i assume it is work in progress and only matter of time.
