Doesn't work at for me. It installed fine. It looks like it will work but when I click apply or log off I just get the default background. I even chose my own background and it is listed as one of the logons but nada. I'm running a dell 2007wfp at 1680x1050. Should that make a difference?

hmmm... It' does seem mostly to be with skins that have horizontal shellstyles but not all. I just tested 2 that have the horizontal shellstyles and they were ok. It's only a few that do it.

OK, I've been a Wincustomize suscriber/Object Desktop customer for 3 or 4 years & I still can't see how to search these forums so if this question has already been answered please forgive me. On some skins when I open control panel I get this error (usually twice) parse error ' When I click ok it goes to control panel but shows no icons It works fine in "classic view" Is this an easy fix?

I've Been testing the betas for a while now and I have to say that just like when Windows XP first came out I hated it because I couldn't seem to find anything but after using Office 12 (2007) for a while now and with the new beta refresh I'm really starting to like it. It has a lot of functions which are now easier to find with the command tabs and the interface is aesthetically pleasing also.

Wow! I couldn't edit my last comment after only 5 minutes.... I forgot to report...My laptop runs measurably faster now...I used to have to run windows XP style most of the time because Windowblinds/Dell would clock my CPU down to 797 MHZ...With this new WB5 it runs GREAT and FAST!!

Very Happy to report that it works flawlessly so far on my Dell D610 laptop Pentium-M 1.60 GHZ 512 MB RAM WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. If you suffer visible corruption (overbright) on the frames and have a NVIDIA board then please be aware this is a NVIDIA bug. It has been seen on GeForce 4 cards and some FX series cards

I am having the same issue where nothing is happening and it is stuck on Classic Mode (although the normal XP themes from MS work). Importing YZ Toolbars into skin with SkinStudio in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I just redently noticed SkinStudio had a import > yz toolbar function so I thought I would try it on a couple of MsStyles I converted that came with a yz toolbar....It worked but the icons came out very small. If I use the small icons setting i can hardly see the buttons. Anybody got any ideas?

I use Firefox as my default browser and it works perfect....Maybe you need to install the "TabBrowser Prefences" and/or "Tab Browser Extensions" extensions. I use them both so I don't know if it operates that way without them.

I am a Republican & I'm voting for Bush..I also voted for Jimmy Carter and Ross Perot so I don't think I can be categorized as an Idealogue. I just believe Bush has more character, is more honest, more down to earth and is a leader as opposed to Kerry whom I view as a follower....His views IMO "follow" the polls & focus groups..I don't believe he has many core beliefs to guide him which is why he appears to be wishy-washy and simply a political opportunist.
