one thing: once you have the technology for viable space combat of any kind then fighters shouldnt be too hard, and you can say all that jazz about how enertia works but hay, we as a race cant even bigin to fully understand how physics works, just because we cant do something doesnt mean it cant be done. now i just sit back and watch the replies and abuse fly.
well i spose cos they hav the free jaffa and the lucien alliance and they both use hattak class ships, just my guess, am i somewhere in the ballpark Eomega?
also i think smaller ships such as frigates should take evassive action and such, leaving the 'ship walls' to the big guns thus making the combat a bit more diverse and dynamic

Danman, here are the planet ideas if you wanna put them in this mod or sins plus. onyx planet - dark glass, population live underground increasing planet health, lack of anything on the planet but onyx reduces culture spread and income neutron star - dramatically increased gravity well and reduced ship speed supernova - slightly bigger gravity well, slight damage to ships over time twin stars - two stars orbiting eachother closely, no statistical difference from regular star

If any modders out there are bored and want a project but cant think of one, im your guy. My idea was for a new and less corporial race to spice things up abit, possibly the being the Vasari were running from. basicaly what i thought was a race which were primarily made of fire, or combusting chemicals, and their technology and homeworld would reflect this; -their homeworld would always be volcanic planets (somehow) -they could colonize volcanic planets

Also adding to that i reckon a hole in the belly of the ship reminiscient of Wraith feeders in their hands.
dolynick - im not really sure how well this would work not knowing much about the game's limitations but iv'e always thought Wraith repair cruisers should be sort of spidery, reparing ships from above. also any sabotage drones for its attack would look a bit like ancient drones only more organic and very spiny (and probably not glowing).
just adding to my last post, i had a really good idea for a wraith repair ship if anyone cares
well i only brought it up cos i noticed in the game there is no real size difference for capital ships, but then again my extent of modding is fairly haphazard and small scale. What i could help wiv is design stuff (i dont mean actuall designing on computers and such just ideas and rough sketches).
