It still will not make a bad game better. That is just how I do things and think. Ultimately only I will be the judge if a game is good to me. Those 3 listed there are all completely about the hype that was generated. All are actually ra

When I first played Entrenchment. I sent a very small Advent fleet in to take care of yet another AI controlled, Vasari, un-ugraded, completely un-protected starbase. My very small fleet of 3 drone hosts and 2 Illums were sent in and told to hold position on the dark side of the planet so the bombers could do their thing. I looked away to take care of something else and came back a minute later only to find the starbase sitting on top of my poor ships and eating them.
At the bottom of the screen directly in the middle there is a box. It is the box that has a picture show up that shows what you have currently selected. At the top of that box is a small arrow that is pointing upwards. If you click it you can rename your planets/ships. Also if you hover over it it will give you text explaining what the button does. Made budgeting a little difficult when I couldn't see my credit total . [/quote] We run into that problem too with games that have not been tested on it. With a little bit of tweaking here and there we can get almost everything perfect. Diablo 2 and Left 4 Dead have been exceptions a
I have not played online once. I have been toying with the idea however. I am a mediocre player. I would prefer to play a humans vs AI game as I generally get the most enjoyment out of that. The trick for me is getting my wife to let me use the computer that has the nice video card and is hooked up to our 47" tv. She just can't play her Warcraft anywhere else anymore. I seem to be running into this as well. The AI will surrender even though it is not in that bad of a position. A couple of times the AI had more planets, resources, and ships than I did. Something just does not seem right. I must agree with the above poster and say I loved "Galactic Civilizations" way of handling a player surrender. Just switching everything over to another player's control/color would be awesome!
